Hi,
I haven’t posted for months. I had given in to the eczema after
several visits to the dermatologist. Last time she wanted to take yet
another biopsy & I just never went back. I have tried all kinds of
prescription and non prescription pharmaceutical products and home
remedies, made my own chickweed salve, even rubbed my skin with amonia
straight out of the bottle but the exzema persisted.

Couple of months ago, I tried using organic apple cider with mother,
gotten from a local orchard, I rubbed it on my skin, and used it as a
rinse on my hair rather than conditioner. Poured it on my head, it
is extremely strong, too. Never let it get into your eyes!

The excema started going away and is almost gone now, all the itchy
sores have dried up. I had this mess of itchy sores for two years. It

Hi,

Has anyone tried using Coal Tar Shampoo? It states that it’s good for people
with sensitive skin/dermatitis etc.

I have eczema on the back of my neck & the bottom of my head - does anyone know
a good remedy??

Hi. I just returned from a trip to Nauvoo, Illinois, where we were on a bus
tour. I had an outbreak of eczema on my palm, which I have from time to
time. I think it is stress related. Anyway, I stopped at a Wal-mart in Iowa,
I think, and the pharmacist recommended a product which I have been using
since my return and I noticed significant improvement with its use. I have
been using other products but they seem to exacerbate the problem!

It is called Aquaphilic ointment, it is fragrance free and masking free. It
says it is an oil in a water lubricating cream base and was formulated at
the University of Iowa for the asteatosis associated with dry mid-western
winters.

I just thought I’d tell you about it because it is far less expensive that
the other things I’ve been using, and though prednisone also worked for me,
it raised my blood sugar significantly and it is really not an option

Hi Everyone,
Today is a new day and I have a new plan that brings me hope.

I have been "fighting" psoriasis for about 6 years. I have been on many
diets and tries many things- except drugs. I have had limited success,
never 100%.

Hey guys and gals,

I’m Jason, 28 y/o and have had Psoriasis for about the last 15 years.
I’m a Regional Manager that lives in North Carolina and works in the
mid and southwest. Thanks to a Derm. in Wisconsin that I saw when I ran
out of meds from a doc in NC, I’m using Dermazinc w/ Clabatsol (sp?)
which keeps my plaques under control EXTREMELY well . . . better than
anything I’ve every used!! I look forward to hearing from you all.

Hi,

I’m new, and haven’t posted before.

I have recently been diagnosed with Dyshidrotic Eczema. It’s on my
palms and the soles of my feet. I’ve never had eczema before.

I am Hyperthyroid, and I heard it’s a companion of Hyperthyroidism.
Don’t know if it’s the condition, or the medication that’s causing it,
but I would be very appreciative if someone could give me some tips.

I have been controlling it with hydrocortisone. Is that safe for
continued use? I apply it a couple of times a day. I have the
prescription 2% (Used only when new blisters appear), and the over-the-
counter 1% (which I normally use).

Has anyone tried using "Skin Balance" Chinese Herbs from a company
called Health Concerns. I think I saw one person on this group try it
and seem to have some success. I wanted to see if anyone else has
tried it. I got 90 tablets that i have been taking for about three
weeks but have not seen anything significant. Please let me know if
you have and if you have seen any results.
