tacrolimus/prograf

Dear all,

Hi! I am new to this list. I am not new to psoriasis, however! I am a 26
year old female. One sister has psoriasis, and my father has it on his
elbows only, and that very manageably. I have had it since I was 8, I
think.

In recent years, the past 5 I think, I have become almost 1/2 covered by
psoriasis patches. Right now I am using tacrolimus, or prograf. It’s an
immunosuppressant that I apply topically (man, that takes a long time!) and
it’s quite expensive. However, I am willing to cut back on some other
things to try and clear up my poor skin. :)
Anyone on the list use this? Can you tell me how long it takes to clear up
your skin? I hear this is a very effective treatment, so I want to verify

it with your experiences. Also, I’d like to hear of any adverse reactions
any of you have had to it.

Thanks so much, and thanks for the list!

Sincerely,

Jojo

Thanks, Dusan! I have six more weeks on my current treatment. If that
fails me, I’m definitely going for the systemic stuff that you’ve mentioned
    here for me.
