Re:dating

Monday, March 17th, 2003

I am not single anymore. I am 39 and have been happily married for near
14 years. BUT i do remember the dating years. :-) I developed
psoriasis at 19. Anyway, I didn’t let the stuff interfere. I would
answer the unavoidable "is it contagious?" and then let it go from there.
I only had one man that I know didn’t ask me out a second time becuase
of the psoriasis. I decided if they couldn’t get around it then they
couldn’t get around it and were definitely NOT the man meant for me. I
was proposed to 3 times after developing psoriasis (and I have a pretty
bad case but it does stay away from my face). On breaking up with a man
he informed me that no one else would ever want me. That he was special
in being able to overlook the psoriasis. Nice try. :-) Now my husband
is thrilled when the psoriasis is on the clearer side. He is thrilled
for himself because it is nice to hold a smoother woman <g> but is mainly
thrilled for me becuase he knows that when the lesions are gone so is
that amount of discomfort. I guess what I am trying to say here is don’t

Poll

Sunday, March 16th, 2003

This is to Hei Ron Cont DLPC for your poll. I am 51,female, over
weight, A Neg.,med to high stress, developed problem around age 20
its real bad now, just went off of Neoral after being completely
free from this nasty desease! Took Methotrexate years ago which also worked.

soriatane

Saturday, March 15th, 2003

This is for Carol,Saints2261, I am also new to this site, and have suffered
with poriasis for many, many years. I am currently taking soriatane with three
light treatments a week. Its getting slightly better. Have you ever taken
methotrexate or Neoral? Both are pretty potent, but they both completely cured
the arthritus and psoriasis, problem was with the regular blood tests, had to
take me off metho. years ago and just a few months ago off of Neoral. I’ve never
tried flax seed oil but am ready to give it a try. I couldn’t believe how fast
it came back and how bad as soon as I stopped taking Neoral.

Want to feel better?

Saturday, March 15th, 2003

Hello to all:

My name is Patrick B. Fisher and I am a Nikken Independent Distributor. I am
quite sure that some of you receiving this message may also be distributors
for Nikken. However, I feel the moral obligation to let as many people as
possible know about the wonderful results my sister, my father, many of my
Nikken friends and I have experienced with Nikken’s fantastic products.

Since I am restricted from using medical terminology by the FDA, I cannot
mention the different ailments from which you all suffer. I know many people
who have experienced the discomfort (particularly joint problems, the
all-over body ache problem, monthly female problems, immune system problems,
people who need chemo or radiation therapy and others) from which many of you
currently suffer and Nikken’s products have helped them to feel better - in
some cases, 100% better or better than they have in 20 or 30 years, or even

RE: Dovenex

For those who Dovenex doesn’t quite get it. There is a little more potent
formula in "Cormax". Can only be used sparingly, but takes out problem
areas pretty quick.

finding the cause

Thursday, March 13th, 2003

I lost my diamond ring in a dark alley, I was on my
knees crying and devastated looking for the ring. In a little while a
policeman came by and found me under a streetlamp franticly looking for
the ring. He stopped and said what is wrong? I lost my diamond ring
in that alley over there, and I’m looking for it. If you lost the ring
in that alley over there, why are you looking for it over here on this
side of the street?? Sobbing I said because the light is better over
here. The medical community will never find the cause of psoriasis
if they are looking in the wrong spot. For 150 years ulcers were caused
by "stress", then in 1979 two Australian researchers discovered that
Hpylor bacteria was the cause of ulcer. They were laughed at for
their findings. It took another 20 years and thousands of deaths,
pain, suffering and hardship to people before medicine was able to
believe the truth, now ulcers are treated with antibiotics.
Psoriasis is the same way, if the Doctors can not or will not find a

no starches….

Sunday, March 9th, 2003

Ron;

You mentioned no starches in the diet that cleared your psoriasis. Did
that include brown rice, beans, etc? And as for proteins, were items
like salmon and nuts allowed? Thanks, just wondering…

atkins diet and cheese

Sunday, March 9th, 2003

My eczema has been under control for about 3 years now. Then I tried the
atkins diet (no carbs, only proteins) a few months ago, and it came back in
a big way. I think it must be something to do with the overload of
proteins.

Then I noticed that whenever I eat loads of cheese it seems to get worse.
I’ve cut cheese out of my diet, and so far, so good. It seems to be
working.

Has anyone else had that experience with atkins diet?
