Maggie,
I use Aqueous Cream B.P. all over my body. It is water based emollient
cream and it was recommend by my specialist about 10 years ago - I am in
the UK but I am sure that there are similar products in the US. It can
be used for washing instead of soap and also acts as a strong
moisturiser. I use it on my face as well and it is really good at
softening the dry skin around my eyes and mouth. You have to be careful
not to use it on greasy areas of your face (if you have any) as it is
too heavy. I also cover my body in it before I go to bed. Whilst in
bed I wear silk pyjamas and cotton gloves which keeps my skin
moisturised during the night and also stops me scratching too much.
When the eczema is bad I tie the gloves on with bandages to stop me
pulling them off. As you can imagine, it took me a long time before I
would let my fiancé see me like this - it is not exactly sexy but very

The name of the medicine My 4 yr old is getting this week is Calcarea Carb.
But it will be different every week. Each of these types of pill are given
for a week and work on one type of allergy at a time. But the improvement
with this first one is astounding! Can’t wait for the next one!
Formaldahyde is also in our water and in our vaccinations. Kids are getting
33 vaccinations before school now starting when they are hours old! I hear
they are talking about getting the mercury out of the shots soon, at least. ![]()
Wood floor and cabinet finishes, permanent press clothing and draperies, and
fingernail polish and hardeners may release significantly higher amounts of
formaldehyde than previously thought. Formaldehyde is a toxic air contaminant
that may be carcinogenic in humans. Low level exposure to formaldehyde can
cause irritation of the eyes and mucous membranes. Long-term exposure can lead
to respiratory problems and eczema. The study tested 55 products commonly found
in homes. They included so-called "dry" products, such as pressed-wood
products, decorative laminates, and permanent press fabrics — all of which
emit formaldehyde at a steady rate, and "wet" products including paint,
wallpaper, fingernail hardener, and floor finishes that produce peak emissions
right after application then less emissions as the product dries.
The highest emissions come from acid-cured floor and cabinet finishes which are
almost always applied commercially, not by homeowners. Although emissions were
highest when the product was wet, even after 24 hours of drying, each coat
emitted (formaldehyde) at a steady rate that was 5 to 10 times higher than

I’ve also been wondering about heredity. Do many of you have family
members with psoriasis? My parents didn’t have it, but one of my sons
has it on his legs. Jody
Hi Joe, I just wanted to tell you about something I use on my scalp
for psoriasis that works great. It’s called Luxiq, it’s a foam that
dissapears after you apply it. You don’t have to wash your hair after
you put it on. I don’t think you can get it without a prescription.

Hello! My name is Joe and I suffer from eczema, or so I’ve been told, and I know
a few things concerning this skin disorder, but not much, and I am hoping to
learn more on this disorder and preventiveness.
This is what I know about my this special pain-in-the-neck condition; it is
heredetary, no cure as of yet, it gets worse as you get older, many things make
it flare up, not contagious, and it sucks if you have it.
I am 25 years old, I am from LA, California, and i first noticed eczema on my
skin when I was ten, and it has gotten worst slowly. The parts of my body that
are mostly affected are the scalp and my face. I have been using Cortizone 10 on
my skin to relieve the itchiness and redness when I do get flare ups, and lots
of lotion for dryness. For my scalp I have used Nexxus Dandarest shampoo, it
works ok. Lately it seems the condition is getting wors, and I am interested in
learning more on this and what others do to prevent flare ups, I know I do and

Dear Tech Support:
Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0 and
noticed
that
the new program began unexpected child processing that
took up a
lot of
space and valuable resources. No mention of this
phenomenon was
included in the product brochure.

Hello there.
I am new to this group, but a lifetime (we won’t say how many
years though!)sufferer of eczema. I have multiple, multiple allergies
including to natural rubber latex, many chemicals, preservatives, and
foods. I recently began taking burdock root as I have heard and read
of its potential benefits. Has anyone here had experience (good or
bad) with this herbal remedy.
Thanks,
Always be careful,
Carolyn
