FLUORIDE- CURE OR CURSE?
FACE THE TRUTH OR TAKE THE CONSEQUENCES…
Dear Readers,
Fluoridation of drinking water has been called everything
from a Public Health cure-all for tooth decay to a
Communist plot against the USA. We feel that this issue
is worth investigating to sort out the facts. Millions of
people are now being forced to drink water that contains
a foreign additive that most of them never asked for or
agreed to accept.
We have four questions:
1) Does fluoride actually help prevent tooth decay, THE
reason promoters use to justify its addition to our water
supply?
2) What, if any, negative health effects does fluoride
have on people?
3) If fluoride has known negative health effects, why
is it so heavily promoted by certain groups?
4) Even if fluoride is beneficial, it is also readily
available in nearly all toothpastes and in dental
treatments. Why are whole populations being
force-medicated with fluoridated water- why are
individuals not being offered the power of choice in
this matter?
Rather than answer these questions completely for you,
we prefer that you do your OWN research on this issue.
The following links offer a great deal of useful information
on this topic. We encourage you to seek out "positive"
data on fluoride as well as negative, and to draw your
own conclusions. (We have included the American Dental
Association (ADA) information on Fluoride for you- they are
about as "Pro-Fluoride" as you can get, yet even they
are concerned about some aspects of fluoridation.)
Our position is this: For most of the 20th century, the
tobacco industry enjoyed the "protection" of the United
States government- the courts, congress and such agencies
that are supposed to protect the welfare of the American
public as the FDA and the Department of Health, Education
and Welfare. Then, in the last ten years their scam was
attacked in the courts and now practically all who do not
smoke view the industry as an "evil business." Details of
how they came to power and maintained their lucrative hold
over so many consumers is now the subject of drama in
books and movies.
This will also be the fate of the use of fluoride in
our society. This story has many of the same elements,
only much larger and more pervasive than cigarette use.
Both the tobacco industry and the fluoridation promoters
used falsehoods, half-truths, distortions and cover-ups
to promote their products. The continued use of both
substances destroys the health and lives of millions
of unsuspecting consumers. Vast profit is realized by
the corporations involved and various aspects of
government look the other way. However, fluoride had one
tremendous point going for it that tobacco could never
claim- the myth that fluoride is beneficial to one’s
teeth. As long as this could be believed by enough
people at large, the use of fluoride could be justified.
