tomatoes, again
Hi, this to everyone, particularly to Katie:
Stopping tomatoes was not particularly difficult in the grand scheme
of things. I figure if I do not have to suffer unbearable itching
and unsightly inflammation, cracking, oozing and bleeding skin, and
all I have to do is quit eating tomatoes, then this to me is an
acceptable tradeoff. It would be nice to eat them, but obviously
they are not healthy for my particular physiological makeup, and
definitely NOT worth the price. As I said, I am delighted that I can
actually have small amounts of tomato sauce for pasta, chili, etc.
because it is the sauce that I really love and fresh tomatoes, I can,
reluctantly give up.
I am also motivated by my 11-month old son who I breastfeed, he also
has eczema and seems to be improving with my removal of tomatoes,
although not as dramatically as me. He is slowly clearing up, but
unfortunately he has inherited a genetic predisposition to this awful
affliction from me, I only hope we can keep it under control for him.
Regards to everyone, Cathy.
