exorax

Friends of mine swear by this product. Apparently very effective.
Extract of banana and coal tar. Anyone tried it ?

i once had it, but i do not think i enjoyed any of it’s results, if it had
any…. i can not remember to tell you my honest opinoin…

I tried exorax and had to send the product back. It was working quite well,
but gave me terrible migrains. Also I wasn’t careful only ONCE about not
going in the sun. My husband and I spent about 1/2 hour looking at new
trucks in the sun and I still have two spots that look suspicious from that
incident. My skin actually felt differnet when I used it. I burned so
    easily when I used it.

I think it was working well, but the tar smell was very bad and I don’t think
it is very good for you in the long run.

I am one of the people that are pro-exorex. My mom ran across an
an in The National Enquirer a few years back. My first thought
was "yeah right". But as I am so embarrassed about my psoriasis
condition, mom surprised me and bought it for me one day.
I had previously tried a billion creams and Diproline prior to
trying Exorex. No, I am not cured but I tell you that it really made
mine look better. Some of my smaller lesions went away completely and
the larger ones really improved to where they were pinkish lesions
(instead of bright, flaming red !) with no scaling.
I cannot comment on sun exposure with this product as the
majority of the time I stay indoors because of it. (Not that I have
it to a debilitating factor, it’s more of a self conscious choice).
I have not had any problems with a strong tar smell. Immediately
after applying, there is a slight odor but it never lasted after the
emulsion dried. (about a minute to dry).

The main problem I see with this is the cost. ($59.99 at
Walgreens). I can’t afford to use it all the time as $60 is alot of
money to come up with sometimes when you have a family. I buy it when
I can afford it and sometimes (when it really flares) when I can’t.
The support line people are really super nice. They ask lots of
questions to give you some well-researched answers. They have even
called me to see "how it was going". And they were not pushing
products when they called which was a plus ! (haha)

I hope this helps someone considering the product.
    Dawn :)
