Contact lenses and eczema

Thursday, July 31st, 2003

Hello,
I’ve been looking in all your letters, but nothing about contact
lenses information. I have eczema and lately I’m thingking about
using contact lenses, but I hesitate due to the eczema often appear
on my hands and fingers and we have to use them to wear contact
lenses.

I want to know how to handle contact lenses if you have eczema. Is
there any special care in the treatment. I’m affraid my eyes would
catch it from my unsteril hands. And what kind should I use? (soft
lenses or hard lenses)

acne andeczema testimonies

Wednesday, July 30th, 2003

Hi I’m new to this group.
I’ve checked the archives, and I haven’t found the testimonials I was
looking for. Do any of you have cured your acne and eczema? If so,
could you please post your testimonial?
I’ve tried flaxseed oil (2 tbsp a day of oil) for several months, and
the little patches of eczema I have on my hands are still the same
size. I have a very good diet though. My eczema is hereditary, it
runs in my family.
Any way, I’m waiting for your testimonials.
Thank you for your help,
Clarity

Great Book !

Wednesday, July 30th, 2003

I have found a great book that I think will help you ! I am a
sufferer of psoriasis for several years now and although I have not
completely cleared I have benefitted trememndously from some of the
vitamin and herbal supplements offered in this book. (At least now I
can wear short sleeved shirts and not be embarrassed by my elbows !)
The book is $7.99.

Sorry about the long URL but I wanted to get you right to the books
page instead of having you get lost in a sea of othewr books…hehe !

Public Awareness Announcement #11

Health Freedom Resources - Public Awareness Announcement #11

A GOVERNMENT PLOT AGAINST THE FREE USE OF HERBS

Thanks to Jacques Allrich, Jr., a terrible scheme has been brought to our
attention.

A bill is being drawn up which will be appended to a complicated HMO bill
which
WILL NOT SEEM to be controversial. Both sides of the aisle want to reign in
some of the abuses of the HMO’s. So far, so good. However, if this bill slips
through, the F.D.A. will then be empowered to regulate natural (herbal)
products. Thus you would need a prescription to get your Echinacea, Vital
Nutrition, etc.

Seniors use prayer to cope with stress; prayer No

. 1 alternative
remedy

By Catherine Antoine

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - If you’re an older American and suffered from
holiday stress this season, odds are good you used prayer to ward
it off, new research shows.
A study from the University of Florida and Wayne State
University shows most older adults use prayer more than any other
alternative health remedy to help manage the stress in their lives. In
addition, nurse researchers found that prayer is the most frequently
reported alternative treatment used by seniors to feel better or
maintain health in general.

Natashya,

I sympathize completely with you. I only have a little eczema
on my hands, mainly my left (of course I am left handed :-p)
but I also have Crohn’s Disease, which the last few years
has really only responded to treatment by altering my diet
a huge amount.

I avoid many of the things you mention too: milk products,
wheat products, refined sugar. I have also lessened my acid
intake a great deal: no tomato sauces, carbonated sodas, alcohol.
I also eat almost no red meat.

Now, to be fair, I cheat a little, in a way. I am militant
about not eating somethings so I can still enjoying a good stout
