help
Hi,
I’ve been suffering from hand eczema (dermatitis?) since my
early 20’s (I’m 36 now). It doesn’t seem to be affected by
what I eat, or what products I use. It seems to be viral,
like herpes. I break out when I’m extremely stressed or when
I get sick. When I do break out (like I am now), it seems to
last 1 - 2 months. It’s really painful when it peels really
bad. Right now, it’s on my thumb, index finger, and middle
finger. I can barely bend my index finger because it’s so
dry and cracked. I’ve tried every lotion, ointment and cream
from the dermatologist, evening primrose oil, borage oil,
over-the-counter lotions and creams, even herpes medication
(aclycovir). Nothing seems to help. Can anyone give me some
ideas? I’m desperate!!!
Thanks,
deb

try soaking your hand in apple cider vinegar for 15 mins a day and see if
that helps.

ps or try soaking your hand in sea salt.
let me know if it works.
Oh yeah after you soak apply a moisture sealant of some kind like vaseline
or glaxal base or something.

Already tried that (my accupuncturist told me about it). It
doesn’t do anything but sting.

what is it thats in the dead sea that makes it so beneficial I wonder?
Is it the high salt content,if thats the case why not make sea salt baths in
stronger doses?
just a suggestion.
I don’t know anything about the dead sea?

I would love to go to Isreal to the dead sea but would it really be
safe at this time. I bet it would at least be cheaper.

I join this group because my hands is hurting me, I went to a
dermatologist and he gave me some cream to use and my hands is getting
worse.
He didn’t want to talk to much, He said I will write a letter to your
doctor and tell him what I see. I finally got him to tell me I have
psoriasis. I itch so bad at night he gave me a pill for that. I am not
itching any more.My finger is cut up so bad, they are hurting me.
I believe now that I need to join a group that deal with this problem
that can offer me some kind of advice.
My name is Lorine and I live in Honolulu Hawaii. I am 59 years old and
I just now develope this horrible disease. I have fibromyalgia and now
I have to deal with this,
