new member - hand eczema

I would like any advice on hand eczema.
About 5 years ago I suffered from watery like blisters on my
left hand. It was very itchy and covered the underside
completely. Then I took some medication called Atarax?? for skin
rashes/anxiety and it went away.

Then about 2 years ago it came back again. This time instead of
blisters it was more like round bubbles under the skin. Just as
itchy as before. But not quite as bad.
I have been taking vitamins and it seems to help. But my finger
nails seem to be affected. They are very pitted and discolered. My
baby finger nail has split and is only partially growing back on one
side.
Is there a cure for this?
Thanks

Ken

    Thanks for the info…
Sounds like your condition is far worse than what I have. The only
other place I have eczema or dandruff? is a small area on my scalp
but that is remedied by using Denerex shampoo once a week. If I keep
my hair real short it is rarely a problem.

I will try the salt water remedy, I have heard from other sources
the same thing. I wonder if the same results could be achieved using
epsom salt? I remember when I was in my late teens/twenties
suffering from acne on my chest/shoulders/back. I would spend the
day at the beach in the salt water and the acne would improve
    drastically.
Sounds like Salt water is good for many skin conditions.

sounds sim to what i have, small blisters as such 1-2mm across on the
palm of my hand/pads and insides of my fingers, left hand mostly but
i started on two new creams recently and there has been an
    improvement.

The main cream is basically a moisturiser called Unguentum M and the
other ones called Aquadrate cream, since using them the blisters seem
to have gone, my skin is softer and the blister cycle is broken, this
will hopefully allow the skin to regrow normally.

    Hi Everyone…
I also suffer from this, the blister looking sores…more so on my
elbows and forearms and with winter approaching here, I am misserable
to say the least. I’ve got it on my legs, knees, it seems to be
spreading now, it was only a large patch on one leg, now it’s on both
legs and covers a good part below my knees…HELP!
My only relief seems to come from tanning beds…Which I often wonder
what my benefit will be in the long run, though…fix one thing to
get another…Alot of the products talked about here, I wouldn’t even
know where to get them. I’ve been to the Derm but the treatment only
works at first, then my body seems to begin resisting it and it
starts flaring right back up. I still feel among those lucky ones, It
isn’t ‘that bad’…it could be worse…just the itching drives me
crazy at times…does anybody have a good remedy for the itch? how
about in the scalp? The cold weather is a killer for me…

Only this week my friend who had suffered with severe
eczema on her arms was sharing her experience with our
group. For years she had used prescribed medications
and over the counter remedies with only temporary
relief. Her condition never really improved. She was
introduced to Tahitian Noni Juice and started drinking
an ounce a day and used the Original Extract(a
concentrated form of the juice)externally on her arms.
This was over a year ago and she has not had a
    recurrance.I have a site www.tahitiannoni.com/jollys.I
share this with every one that I come in contact with
since I know many sufferers who have benefited from
    this product.
