No faith in my doctor!

Friday, April 30th, 2004

4 weeks ago I was joking around and shaved my chest hairs and hair
on my hands to my elbow and took a bath afterwards couple of times
during the week one day i notice that my natural fatty skin shine did
not return and the hue did not come back but became dry looking and
my oily face became darken and was unreconizable after one week vist
to my doctor moles and many other skin problems have arrived over a
couple of days My doctor says she do not know why this happen this
just by using a electric razor one night. I have Cetaphil soap &
lotion also Lachydron lotion which wears off after a time . I believe
scientist do not want to find a cure for this diease or any like
Hives, Asthma, Allergies and many other problems the reason i say
this is because my Doctor really do not care at all because she do
not have it! Have any one heard of Dr. Syrokomsky from Russia who
says he can help treat Atopic problems like ours with awesome results.

water and skin

Wednesday, April 28th, 2004

Hello group,

Lately all the trouble I have been having with my skin and nothing seems to
give me any relief I wondered if the remedy could be simple.

There are many problems that occur due to minimal water intake. Have anyone
out there read anything regarding water and skin. I know that I could go
forever without water and I was wondering if this could be one of the reasons
why I never get any relief from the dry skin which is very, very dry. The
dryness is unbearable and hurts with means that if I am dry I itch and when I
itch my eczema appears. I would like to hear back from anyone on this

Thanks,

Terri

Hello I am new to the group!

Wednesday, April 28th, 2004

Hello,

My name is Daleine and I just came across this group. I have a
severe case of eczema and I have tried several prescription
ointments and treatments that have only offered a moderate relief.
I wanted to share a couple of things that have truely made a
remarkable difference to my skin! Both of these products are made
by Nutrimetics. The first one is Nutri-Rich Oil which is made in
Australia out of Apricot Kernel Oil. It helps immensely with dry
skin and chapped lips working to prevent them from returning as
well. The other is Nutri-Clean which is a multi-purpose soap. So
far, I have only used it as a hand lotion and since I started using
it my knuckles are no longer cracked and bleeding. I was really
beginning to give up hope for normal skin when the prescriptions
didn’t work. However, a friend of mine invited me to a party with

The info is very informative.
Even though I say I give up on the doctors, I will seek out any
relief I can find.

Dear Rita,
You ask what I think about acupuncture? Well I have it about every
two weeks - and to be honest it has not done a great deal - not in a dramatic
way However I think my sinus’s which were thick are clearer - and also I
am told tht my heart which used to keep on skipping about has steadied down a
lot. The eczema stays the same however.

I know that the Chinese herbal medicines are famous for being effective in
cases of skin disease which nothing seems to cure. However I do not have
any experience of them myself. Keep battling on and keep calm! Loe Jan

Thank You

Thank you for the welcome! I have used Aquaphor and it has been a
helper. I like to have it in my purse instead of the BIG mega jars
of generic Eucerin I am married to. I do think it is all internal.
I met a gal who had this for eleven years. A miracle happened for
her after she was advised from a lady at a chinese restaurant to
visit a certain eastern doctor. Well, long story short, after
acupuncture for one year, drinking a tea which was concocted
especially for her and following a rigid diet…it vanished. I tried
to track this doctor down but he moved somewhere in New York. When
she first went to him, he did not want to treat her, but after her
insistence he did. He didn’t want to treat her because he said
most "westerners" did not take his medicine seriously. So….what do
you think about acupuncture?

hand dermatitis, eczema ??

Sunday, April 18th, 2004

Good Morning Group,

I have joined your group in hopes of learning your trial and errors.
I have had hand dermatitis or eczema (M.D.’s have stated both) for
two years. It is quite severe. I have been on several ointments,
cream, steroid, and antibiotics over this course of time. My hands
have changed from peeling to open wounds. I have started the new
itching scenario these past four months or so. Cultivate is the
ointment for the moment. Sleepless nights and sporadic depression
has brought me to this point. Life alteration is definitely a drag.
I look forward to reading your posts and learning new information.

testimony

I am writing this message because I have tried the cream from Ivar in
Thailand recently and my eczema almost cleared up in a week.

I have had an atopic eczema for a long time. This winter, NYC was very
cold and dry (Today we still had a snow!), so almost 65% of me (the worst
time was all over except my head and face) were affected badly. I have
tried many things:taking omega 3, 6, 9 (flax, borage, and cod liver) oils,
vitamin A, B, C, and E everyday and put a mixture of olive oil and tea tree
oil after taking shower and then put shea butter and biolanyn cream. (I
used to use steroid, but it didn’t help in real way. So, I switched to
biolanyn cream. I don’t know why some dermatologists in the US prescribe
strong steroid easily. In Japan, dermatologists prescribe mild one
especially for face and neck.) Although I didn’t see any improvements,
when I did Dr. Clark’s parasite and kidney cleansings, I felt some relief.
However, my legs, shoulders, right hand, lower back, and neck didn’t

Things that have helped me

Wednesday, April 14th, 2004

Hello everyone

I am a new member and have enjoyed reading your emails and find comfort in
the fact that there are other people out there like me striving to control
their symptoms.

I would therefore like to share with you some things that have helped me. I
have been a psoriasis suffferer for 27 years now and had good and bad times.
I have been free from scalp psoriasis for the last 5 years since discovering
Kerastase shampoo for sensitive scalps, which not only has helped the flaky
skin but keeps my hair in great condition too.

I recently developed very dry and painful skin on my face, which I am still
unsure what it was, eczema or psoriasis or other! I have substantially
improved this by washing and moisturizing with Avene products. These are

ReTrisha and chocolate and coffee craving.

Tuesday, April 13th, 2004

Dear Trisha,
Smoothies beat cravings.
I sympathise with your coffee and chocolate craving and it is not good for
your
skin. The way I coped was to make two pints of a Smoothie using any
delicious wholesome fruit juice (not "drink") apple +orange+pineapple+mango
and any combinations - add two tablespoons of (cold pressed) Flax Oil
(expensive but worth it) then add your usual vitamins - and a banana
unless you are overweight. Ring the changes - they are all so
delicious…get this down you. A pint for breakfast… and the second pint
during the day cool from the frig. - and you will NOT crave anything.
Scrumptious and the Omega 3 will nourish you through and through. Love
from Jan
