hand dermatitis, eczema ??
Good Morning Group,
I have joined your group in hopes of learning your trial and errors.
I have had hand dermatitis or eczema (M.D.’s have stated both) for
two years. It is quite severe. I have been on several ointments,
cream, steroid, and antibiotics over this course of time. My hands
have changed from peeling to open wounds. I have started the new
itching scenario these past four months or so. Cultivate is the
ointment for the moment. Sleepless nights and sporadic depression
has brought me to this point. Life alteration is definitely a drag.
I look forward to reading your posts and learning new information.

Rita,
Have you tried Aquaphor healing ointment? (CVS also has a version of this for
a cheaper price). Do you use cotton gloves to keep the cream/ointment on?
Hope you find something that helps.

Hello Rita,
No doubt it’s very challenging. Changing my diet has
helped a lot. It’s a slow process.
See you on here soon,

Hello and welcome to the group. I expectyou have read some of the
material already posted. Just a gentle reminder that you must not
concentrate totally on the topical treatment of your poor hands.
Remember that your skin is an organ of cleansing - and that you must keep all
your means of cleansing well attended to - bowels - bladder - breating..etc.
So plenty to drink plenty of sleep, plenty of efa’s - some raw foods - reduce
alcohol, fried foods,, coffee and sweet junk foods… but then you know all
this . Also fresh air and a little sun which helps to produce vitamin D…
a good dentist - and some good friends to relax with!. Be sure that when
you get depressed just tell us about it and some one will cheer you up!
with love from Jan
