<description>Water intake is generally quite important for health overall. Since we
skin sufferers are even more sensitive to health hazards, we need to
increase our water intake. So, drink more water. However, when taking
baths, don't take long ones. Research has shown that tap water on the
epidermis has a dehydrating effect. Unless you mix it with some
additives to make it more moisturizing to your skin, you should try to
keep your skin dry from water, and moisturize it using emolients or
creams or oils. When bathing, use a moisturizing shower liquid or soap,
such as liquid paraffin or something. Hope this helps.
