Shannon try 2000mg cal/magnesium for stress related breakouts

Tuesday, June 29th, 2004

1000mg cal/magnesium twice a day really relieves stress related breakouts.
Perhaps because it restores the adrenals.

Glad to hear that you have found some relief, and
thank you for sharing your information. I am very
interesed in learning about your herbal formula.

I am a 36 year old woman with head to toe eczema.
Lately it comes and goes. I need something for itching
that is non-toxic. I am a mostly raw foodist, taking
flax oil, fish oil, multi vitamins and minerals, msm
(on and off), I exercise, and try and control my
emotions.

I have found that when I get "stressed" my skin gets

I have just started using this in a 3% solution for eczema, it seems to be
working taking a few drops a day. You feel this fizzing beneath the skin like
killing bacteria. I will begin using a Food Grade 35% Hydrogen peroxide gel I
got and will let you know how it does.

Anyone else tried this?

hair loss

Thursday, June 24th, 2004

In anyone’s battle with eczema and/or psoriasis have you lost your hair or
have it broken off?

When I started with my battle with my skin disease, I had not lost my hair
nor had the dryness or eczema affected my face or my scalp. Now my latest
battle which has affected my entire body has totally rendered me bald. Is there
any advice that anyone could offer me to help keep my scalp healthy and grow my
hair back?

hey everyone-protopic??

Tuesday, June 22nd, 2004

sorry i missed the post, what is protopic?? im off the prednasone and
my skin is so bad again!! im trying to just use the atarax
(antihistimine) to calm things down..the thing is after the awful,
awful rash on my face, my skin gets so dry it looks like crepe paper,
and i am seriously getting wrinkles… i recover a bit, it dries out
and flakes while healing,t hen it just goes rashy again..

i am thinking it is my diet, i am on this horrid chinese atkins diet,
basically a version of a keto diet, that some bodybuilders
use…anyways, since i want to lose weight and work out and get
enough protein everyday, im on this keto type eating pattern, in
which 80% of your calories come from fat!! and a bit of protein, and
low, low carbs… some of the bodybuilders i have seen post that
their skin is actually less dry than usual… the thing is the diet i
am on now isn’t actually a diet, its more like, ok ill only eat meat!!

Im still on this medication and it was getting worst. BUt my doctor
said it will come out and then it should start clearing up in another
2 weeks or so. During that time, i was so itching and scratching but
now I am not itching a lot like before. So it looks like it working.
Hope so!
Terri, how are you doing with your skin. Any luck!

Yours truly
Glenda

Advice

Friday, June 18th, 2004

Hi,

I just jointed this group. I have suffered from eczema all my life
and now for the first time to be on my lips. My lips are very very
dry (none of the over the counter medicines work) and the sides of
the mouth are cut and will not heal. This has destroyed my social
life as it’s very unpleasant and I don’t feel like leaving my
apartment. Does anyone have any advice or comments? I desperately
want to know why this has suddenly appeared.

Tank you in advance.

Please Help My Poor Baby!!

Wednesday, June 16th, 2004

Hello,
I am brand new to this group and I am seeking help out of
desperation. My beautiful six month old baby girl has had a small
rash on her face for a few months now. We have tried many natural
remedies, nystatin ointment, zinc oxide to no avail. Now after
months she has a large oozy, bleeding sore on her face. She rubs it,
and we have been able to keep her from doing much damage to herself,
but she is learning to scratch quickly, and I fear that she will be
constantly tearing it open soon. I don’t even know for sure what the
rash is, but we have been battling yeast for months, and so I assume
it is at least yeast related. I would be so grateful if anyone has
any ideas to help me clear up this horrible sore on my beautiful
baby!! My baby is still largely breastfed, and I am on a candida
diet. We do not use many soaps, detergents or chemicals. She has no
other signs of allergies.
