neoral
hi,
i was wondering if any one knew the withdrawal effects for
cyclosporine, i have looked on the net but only can find side
effects.
i have found this drug a great help to my eczema.
i have had eczema for 24 years (all my life) i have tried creams,
emmolients, pills been in hospital three times, tried azothiprine
and have finally been put on cyclosporine.
i have been on it two weeks and already ppl are commenting on how
clear my skin is looking.
OK the side effects are worrying but i made my choice of a shorter
life with clear skin in opposed to a long life with scabby, itching
skin, a long time ago. I would rather be happy for a short time
than misarable and in pain for a long time.
regards and all the best with the quest against eczema to you all

I agree with you on your clear skin idea. If I could find something to work
for me I would use it despite the side effects. Is this cyclosporine a
steroid? what kind of side effects have you noticed so far?
Good luck

syclosporine is an immunosuppresent.
side effects: high blood pressure, nausea, vomiting, headaches, stomach ache,
tremors that is up to now but they have lessened as the two weeks has gone on
Good luck
Terri
