Please Help My Poor Baby!!
Hello,
I am brand new to this group and I am seeking help out of
desperation. My beautiful six month old baby girl has had a small
rash on her face for a few months now. We have tried many natural
remedies, nystatin ointment, zinc oxide to no avail. Now after
months she has a large oozy, bleeding sore on her face. She rubs it,
and we have been able to keep her from doing much damage to herself,
but she is learning to scratch quickly, and I fear that she will be
constantly tearing it open soon. I don’t even know for sure what the
rash is, but we have been battling yeast for months, and so I assume
it is at least yeast related. I would be so grateful if anyone has
any ideas to help me clear up this horrible sore on my beautiful
baby!! My baby is still largely breastfed, and I am on a candida
diet. We do not use many soaps, detergents or chemicals. She has no
other signs of allergies.
Thank You,
Elizabeth

Welcome to the group.
I wish I had the magic answer for you — other members may have suggestions.
Keep on with the breast feeding what ever you do. (I fed my babies on
nothing else for one year … and for many months after they had bed time feeds
to settle them down)
Are you giving other foods or supplements? If so understand that a baby
can live on breast milk without any harm for a year at least. You cannot be
sure what is in the food - nor can you be sure that your baby can digest diary
and wheat products at this stage.
Have you GP or dermatologist or Children’s Specialist.send a skin sample
off to the path lab for routine check on fungal, bacterioloical infections
etc.
Get little cotton mittens for her hands if she scratches herself. Do not
scold her as this might add to her stress. Do not look worried when you look
at her face.
I know that all this breast feeding takes a long time but just get a good
book, relax and enjoy your baby.
All my love J Henry

If you’re using steroids, avoid it due to the bleeding wound. Make sure
it is dry after each bath, and immediately apply your lotions after
that. I recommend evening primrose oil or natural vitamin E oil….
don’t be too liberal, since the oil may be concentrated. Do well to read
the instructions. The EPO/vit e will help the skin regenerate faster.
And remember to pray everyday to the higher power. It helps.
Love,
Boon.

Hi Elizabeth,
Check out Colloidal Silver, it just might help. I would suggest using it
topically several times a day and also orally. You can read all about it’s
benefits at www.utopiasilver.com .

Don’t feed your baby any cooked food. We were all born
raw foodists — notice when you try and feed her
cooked food — she spits it out. Also your doctor
probably told you to start out with just a little
amount of cooked food at a time, otherwise it can be
dangerous — that’s a red flag for me, why would we
want to put something dangerous into our bodies??
Once we are fed cooked food our body chemistry changes
to accomodate that food (which is chemically different
than raw food). However just because our body
chemistry changes doesn’t mean that that food isn’t
doing harm. Check out www.rawfamily.com. Victoria is
very wise and cured her son of diabetes, her daughter
of asthma, her husband and herself had serious
illnesses as well. Now they are beautiful, the kids
have excelled in school (both skipped grades and are
in college, the daughter is 15), they don’t have any
of the hyper problems that most kids have, and they
are full of energy. It’s very impressive. I happen to
live in the same town as them and have the good
fortune of spending time with them. They did it by
taking out all cooked food from their diet (the only
supplement they take is wheatgrass).
For myself I haven’t been able to go totally raw for
an extended period of time. Cooked food is one of the
most addictive substances around. I haven’t been able
to kick my addiction to Indian food and a few other
items. However I have been 80-100% raw since January
2001 and I can say that my skin is better than it has
been in many years. I do still have eczema, but I
don’t wake up with it covering entire areas of my body
any more. I don’t have to look in the mirror and
decide if I’m going to go outside or not today. (My
skin was a nightmare for many many years.) Now it’s
more patchy and in small areas.
Raw food has done wonders for my asthma. I used to use
my inhaler every day, twice a day. Now I don’t even
carry an inhaler with me. I used an inhaler once last
week (I just moved and stirred up a lot of dust and
emotions) but before that I used an inhaler last
September — that is a miracle. No doctor has ever
been able to do that for me.
good luck.

Be careful with silver, some people turn blue –
permanetely — from taking silver. I took it for a
while with no problem and I have friends who believe
in it, however I have also read about people who used
it and are now blue. (Sounds strange but it’s true, my
mom told me about a segment she saw on some morning
show she saw.)

That won’t happen if you take silver that is prepared the proper way, with
the microscopic particles. I’ve done alot of research on it, and the one I
am taking is safe.
