hair loss
In anyone’s battle with eczema and/or psoriasis have you lost your hair or
have it broken off?
When I started with my battle with my skin disease, I had not lost my hair
nor had the dryness or eczema affected my face or my scalp. Now my latest
battle which has affected my entire body has totally rendered me bald. Is there
any advice that anyone could offer me to help keep my scalp healthy and grow my
hair back?

I have been diagnosed with eczema by several dermatologists and an allergist.
Even though I have not discussed the hair loss with the doctors due to
embarassment, I figured that the same thing that was happening with my skin it
was
doing the same thing to my scalp making it dry to. Any suggestions?

Hair loss is called psoriasis and is not a usual prognosis for
eczema.
Where is your nearest City?
Do they not have a regular Skin Clinic for people with
problems such as yours?
Your GP could refer you. It does not sound reasonable that
you should have to battle on alone like this
without proper treatment. J

When my eczema was very, bad my hair and nails were
weak and not healthy. DIET, DIET, DIET. That’s what
has helped my nails get strong and my hair get
thicker. I also don’t use chemicals on my hair or
nails anymore. No nail polish. No color on my hair –
although I am considering henna.
