my experience with eczema

I have treated mostly eczema patients but my advice could be applied
to many skin conditions: psoriasis, dermatitis, acne, rosacea, etc. I
provide more of a general guideline on this page. Consult a holistic
health practitioner about different brands of products or pick up a
nutrition book such as P. Balch’s Nutritional Healing. My eczema got
85% better and I also helped several of my patients. Be patient and
do the work; it takes time for the body to change and create a new
healthy environment.

-Get an herbal prescription from an acupuncturist–to cleanse and
build your blood, support your adrenal and liver function–these are
usually the underlying issues in many skin problems, incl. eczema.
He/she will tailor it to your specific needs, based both on your
symptoms and constitutional weaknesses you manifest. It is a great
investment.

-Do a liver cleanse (mild to strong)–depending on the overall health
of your liver and your state of health-with variety of herbs,
homeopathics, food items–consult a book, holistic health
practitioner, etc.

-Do mild saunas on a regular basis and drink plenty of water every day

-Decrease your stress levels–if high–too much adrenaline
contributes to allergy flare ups which relates to eczema

-Take probiotics (acidophilus, etc.) plus enzymes–at least at the
beginning–first couple of months of healing your eczema–and then
periodically–this is to help your digestive system brake down your
food and keep a good supply of good bacteria in your colon

-Diet: no spicy and deep fried food, no seafood (except for fish–if
not allergic), stimulants such as coffee, chocolate, drugs, alcohol–
if the word "no" turns you off, reduce intake to minimum at least for
the first months of your trying to clear your eczema (-;

-If you suspect candida, get tested and do a candida clearing
protocol–herbs and supplements–again consult a trained practitioner
or books

-Some people respond well to homeopathics–usually the younger the
person, the least engrained the eczema is in the system and therefore
the healing is faster

-If you have allergies, consider trying NAET–a modality that helps
with desensitization to food and other items–look up a practitioner–
this is if you have done everything I mentioned above and nothing
works and I really mean done everything–not just tried for a few
days.

    Great information!!!!
I want to add that at the time I was treated –
N.A.E.T. cleared me of dog allergies and some others.
I need to retreat for dogs if I’m around them again
but it worked. I learned to give it to myself (by
working in a doctors office in exchange for
    treatments).
