Short answer, fucking cortizone-10 creme. Not that I’m unhappy to have
finally gotten rid of my skin problems but the solution was painfully
simple.

I’m currently 23 years old, I’ve been going to a dermatologist for
dermatitis since I was 19 and a couple years before then for acne.
I’ve been prescribed desowen, dermatop and a few others I can’t
remember with limited success. I’ve ordered tons of different herbal
remedies, special soaps and all that good stuff. Even tried the gluten
free diet and basically just fasting for long periods of time because
after I’d eat my skin would always get really bad.

My skin problems were destroying my life off and on. No long term
relationships, no confidence I would keep isolated. My personality
would change drastically with my skin. I’ve turned to hard drugs,

drinking and seclusion.

Anyways I crashed my car drunk driving recently and my last
prescription of desowen was empty with no more refills. My work is
within walking distance (about 45 min walk) but there are no
dermatologists nearby. Now although the meds only worked about 50%
when my skin was flaring up it was enough to keep my sane or atleast
motivated to go to work.

Well my skin was driving my nuts at work. I was trying not to scratch
and make things worse but about halfway through the day I couldn’t
help it and just went crazy scratching all the skin off around my
scalp, between my eyes, in the grooves of my nose and above my chin.
Everyone at work it asked me if I’m having an allergic reaction to
something, OMG what happened to you, ect… Usually I wait until I’m
home before I rip my skin apart but without the creams it was to much.

So I’m frantically surfing the net looking for something I can pickup
at the supermarket or walgreens. I came across a dermatologist site
that said for mild to moderate dermatitis try cortizone cream, botton
line is it worked! Within a day I saw drastic results, within a week
almost perfect skin. Now after about a month I’ve been going to the
gym, the beach, even out to a club - skin looks great (water/sun/sweat
was a BIG no before)! I’ve actually been drug free and sober for two
weeks with only minor cravings, my life has impoved 100%.

Obviously cortizone creame isn’t gonna work for everyone, or hell
maybe nobody else. But who knows maybe there is someone else out there
from the same screwed up gene pool that will benefit like I did.
