Newbie introduction and needing help

Hi,
I’ve been battling with skin disorders for the past 4 years, and I
recently turned to all natural products which helped a bit.Ghanean
black soap and shea butter has help for my acne and eczema. But
actually, my focus right now is not on myself: My boyfriend started
to have this skin condition that has gotten me really worried.

My boyfriend is very health and never had any health problems. He’s
had a sport injury about 8 years ago and allergic to penicillin.
That’s as far as it goes in term of medical problems. He has
beautiful healthy skin, no acne, pimples, or anything of the sort.

Recently, he started to have those dry patches on his hand. There was
only one, so i gave him shea butter which smooth it a bit, but by the
end of the week, his wrists, forearm, thighs(very close to his

genitals) were covered were dark patches that turned to be dry
afterwards. Please note that we have black skin: I spent hours and
hours researching on the internet for definition and images, but all
i see is white skin which sometimes, reacts differently. Anywho,
apart from
his upper body and thigh, his feet are in a terrible condition. He
has huge bubbles of clear liquid that later bursts and creates a dry
patches. At the beginning, I was massaging his feet with the shea
butter to see if it would help and I noticed that the dry patches
were …multilayered: underneath the dry patch, the skin was dry
too and was pealing off. Between his toes, his skin is extremely
moist though but a very thick layer of skin is peeling off as well,
leaving another layer of skin white, ready to peel off again.

Now it’s been two weeks since this started. He had just started a new
job 3 weeks ago and he wasn’t able to go to work for the past 2 days
because his feet were burning him. The bubbles are now spreading
under his feet and on his heals.

We went to see some stupid doctor who barely looked at it and said it
was a contagious bacteria. I know this was totally wrong, so i
dragged him outta there and decided that I was going to treat him.
After all the health problems i’ve had myself, i’ve lost totally
faith in medecine and so-called doctors.

I’m doing good with his arms and thigh. I can see that the skin is
getting better due to the shea butter, but his feet and getting worst
and worst everyday. I don’t know what to do about that.

I would really appreciate any suggestion and help regarding his
condition.

I was thinking about getting an ionic air purifier and humidifer (for
stress and air moisture). I also was going to try to soak his feet in
vinegar and try to have him stop smoking for a week. I’m not too sure
about those conclusions that I’ve made. Do you think it would work.

Thank you all in advance for your response! I know this was a long
post!!

Thanks,

    HaitianSupaSta-

You might try Dr. Willard’s Water. It’s a super ionized water that aids in
the healing of all types of open wounds. I drink it along with topically
applying it to my scalp. Look it up on google. It’s not very expensive and
might help heal your boyfriends feet. It sounds so painful! Best of Luck!

Thanks Mindi. Actualy, after researching a lot and looking at his
feet again, I found out that he has Tinea or Athlete’s foot. There’s
a fine line between the two, which is why i thought it was psiorasis.
I’m so glad i was able to find out that. I’ll take him to the
doctor’s again (a better one though) and get a prescription to treat
    him.

    Dear Haitian supasta (and all)

I’ve had eczema for over 15 years, been to dozens of doctors, all with no real
answers. Finally I got fed up. I did some research and by accident, found out
that "itchy skin" and other skin related conditions are related to
psychological/emotional states. A lot of people have used yoga and meditation
    to "balance" their "mind,body, and soul". At first, I was a non-believer- I’m a
happily, married professional, lots of friends, hobbies, etc. I can’t seem to
pin point any stress or emotions bothering me. The idea of yoga/meditation
seemed a bit "hippy" to me but I gave it a try. I started doing yoga five times
a week and practiced a meditation called "five elements" healing meditation.
This type of healing is called "spiritual healing". After a month or so I
experienced all sorts of emotions, strange enough there were a few "hidden"
thoughts/emotions that came out. More importantly, the symptoms of eczema
slowly went away and after one month most of if went away. I’ve stopped doing

meditation (been too busy) but still do yoga four times a week. I’m now a 100%
believer, it is the best thing- to be able to take your health into your own
hands instead of these ridiculous doctors who don’t understand a damn thing
about dermatology. This does require work in "relaxation" and it may take a
month or more to see results, and it is a lifestyle change. Furthermore, It
    WORKS.
Don’t stress, there is help out there. You have to take matters into your own
hands. You and your boyfriend can attend classes together and meditate
    together. Peace, health and happiness.

    Hi

You might try this home made salve.

I do not have any experience with it but have used olive oil, coconut oil and
blended garlic paste and Tahitian Noni Juice individually for various skin
problems with reasonable success. Recently got this from a post on Mr Tracy’s
    Corner, another very good group.

    GOOT Garlic oil ointment

A formula that will produce miracles -

Anti-infective/Anti-fungal/Anti-parasites Warm 3 tablespoons of Coconut oil over
stove until melted and add 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Remove from heat and add
1 tablespoon of fresh chopped garlic. Blend at slow speed, then at high speed
for 2 minutes. Use a blender or coffee grinder.(let the garlic infuse for at
least 3 hours at 100F up to 3 days is better) Pour mixture through a screen to
remove chunks of garlic that the blender may have missed. Pour into a wide mouth
jar and label it "GOOT." Place in a refrigerator.

GOOT turns into a thick soft paste after 1 hour. GOOT, rubbed into the skin,
transfers raw garlic oil directly into the blood stream. Apply on the feet of
children or infants to fight infections. Rub on chest for chest colds, pneumonia
or rub into nostrils for sinus infections. Apply directly to sores inside the
mouth. Rub on Athlete’s foot and genital area for jock itch. Insert GOOT into
vagina or rectum for yeast or other related infections. Apply on rashes any
place. Place on cotton swab for ear infections. GOOT kills Candida, parasites,
bad bacteria and virus by direct application. In addition, it treats systemic
infections by absorption through the skin into the blood supply and travels
throughout the body. After two weeks, make a new batch of GOOT
