Otherwise it helps to start your day with a glass of fresh squeezed lemon juice
instead to coffee and sugar which throws the balance off. as well as coke and
other bevs with carbonated caffeine and sugar.

Be well,
Denise

Hi Ashley,

Thanks for sharing and for the information. I’m glad I’m not the only one who
has this condition in this most embarrassing locatioin. Good grief, when around
other people, you can’t even scratch. The itching drives me crazy! I wouldn’t
wish this on anyone.

I’ve tried to topical corticosteroid ointments, including Cortaid, but it

didn’t do a thing except cause some skin changes, perhaps from overuse.

I saw some things on the internet that claim to help and even cure, so after
Christmas I’m going to try them one at a time as they are not very expensive.

I usually start the day with a Diet Coke. I am not a coffee drinker as I cannot
stand the taste. Prefer tea over coffee.

I know about ph balance. I’m well versed in food combining. I read all the
books about these things as I eat my hot fudge/caramel sundae. I know I need to
change my eating habits. I have no doubt about that whatsoever. My taste buds
seem to rule my eating behavior.

    I’ll try harder.

it’s what we are used to. yes controlling the taste
buds is one of the most difficult things we can do -
in my opinion. but remember — tastes can change. it
takes lots of will power and finding good substitutes
but once you get used to honey rather than white
sugar, white sugar won’t taste good, etc.

check out www.rawfoods.com — there are some yummy
recipes that are sweet and satisfying. i just made Nut
Nog (i believe i got the recipe there), it’s
out-of-this world and it’s non-dairy and vegan. if not
try lovingfoods.com — i might of found it there. if
you can’t find it let me know and i’ll forward you the
recipe. also there is a book called ‘eating without
heating’ by sergie and valya boutenko — they have

many tasty desserts including "un-chocolate cake" that
    is unbelievably good.

one thing i know for sure — cut out the soda’s - they
are just as evil as coffee, and then some…..

had sex in 10 years. Now leave my food and Diet Coke alone! LOL

    Dear Colleen
I think it is FAR more significant that you have not had
sex for ten years than if you have one can of disgusting Diet Coke
    (aspartame crap) per day.

People on this website go absolutely crazy if I mention
s-x. They deregister in droves. What is that about?

It is so essential that we all feel good about
ourselves. It is so worth working on. Sort it out. Go on!
Merry Christmas to all you loveable, crazy people. BE HAPPY!

They deregister in droves if anyone mentions "s-x?" I have no idea what that
would be about. It’s a natural part of life just like eating. The only reason
I have gone 10 years is because I never met anyone in the last 10 years who I
wanted to be intimate with. At my age, all the guys are either married, dead or
    gay.

I did ask God to send me a big teddy bear type guy who gives great hugs and is
not afraid to say "luv ya." I forgot to mention that he should not be gay. God
does have a sense of humor!

I’ve been drinking Diet Coke for 15 years, 1 or 2 a day. They help my

  11. Mitch Waters Says:

I have a great interest in being well, but I don’t think that eliminating Diet
Coke completely from my diet is going to make me well. As a matter of fact, I
gave it up for an entire year about five years ago, but I did not notice any
    difference whatsoever in my health.

My focus is on eliminating my rash or psoriasis or whatever it is. I’ve been
putting Watkins Petro Carbo Salve on it and it seems to be helping.

Several doctors have told me that Diet Coke has nothing to do with any of my
medical problems. It is a substance that has passed FDA approval in the amounts
    used.

A doctor who told you that aspartame was OK is just trying to please you for
    some reason.
As for the quantity - that is not logical as the doctor cannot know how
much you are taking in other things…in fact none of us know. If you check out
the yogourts, the cordials etc it all adds up. Why it is even in the WATER
sold in my supermarket has aspartame in it…- It is called Water- with -a-
dash -of -fruit -and I bet a lot of the people who buy it think it is a pure ,
    safe product.

Actually, the studies done on aspartame were done on rats. Certainly the rats

One or two diet colas a day is certainly not going to hurt me. Other things
will hurt me far more. After all I’ve been through in my life, I’m not going to
worry about a couple of cans of Diet Coke every day. I have far greater things
to worry about, such as saving the world from pedophiles and child molesters,

    Hi!

I’ve been trying to stay out of this because i believe you have the right to
    consume what you want.

I remember when aspartame came out and I was so excited because I thought there
would be a choice. Coke had both Diet Coke and TAB out at the time and I
thought they would make one NutraSweet based and leave the other with good old
saccharine. Obviously I was wrong and I wrote many times to Coke to try to get
them to bring a saccharine based diet soda back.

Diet_Rite brands do use Splenda but they don’t taste as good. And you can get
diet tonic water with saccharine - but that sure is an acquired taste.

I get horrifying headaches with in seconds of taking a sip of a NutraSweet

product. I don’t know about studies and the rumors of money exchanging too many
hands and all. I just know how my head throbs when I drink the stuff. And I
also know I’m not the only one. My brothers also get headaches. I’d say it’s
genetic but I’ve talked to too many others who react the same way. Bottom line
is I won’t let my kids drink the stuff, but I do keep it around for friends who
prefer it. Same as people can’t smoke in my house, but I’ll keep an ashtray in
    the garage.

The road to good health is rocky and what works for some doesn’t work for
everyone. If we could all live stress free, swim in the ocean and drink fresh
fruit juices and eat veggies, excerise and not have to make any decisions. Well
I’ll wake up now, try to stick to my diet and brave the snow.

    You have a good attitude!

Everyone is different, and one person’s cake is another person’s poison.

I would advise anyone , especially those with a weak or compromised liver, to

I don’t scare easy, for exp; the whole MSG thing is much the same, chemically
altered amino acids yet I don’t avoid it like the plague, but I really think
    aspartame is different, very dangerous,
the warning on it tell phenylketonurics to avoid it, PKU is a test given at
birth to avoid retardation caused by protein or phenylalanine.

It can leave holes (burns) in the brain and damage the kidneys especially along
with the adrenal depleting caffeine, sodium and acid.

better for the liver than alcohol. Now that’s what people should really give
