<description>&#34;Burn holes in the brain?&#34; LOLOLOL. That's funny. I had brain surgery a
couple of years ago. If I had holes in my brain I'm sure the neurosurgeon would
have mentioned it. I'm not afraid of drinking aspartame. It's bound to be far
better for the liver than alcohol. Now that's what people should really give
up. Most of the people who die from hepatitis C are drinkers. My liver, on the
other hand, is still only in the beginning of stage I liver disease, even though
I've had the virus since 1969. I and my liver are doing just fine. All I want
is to get rid of the itching and the redness and scaling on my butt.

Colleen

It can leave holes (burns) in the brain and damage the kidneys especially along
with the adrenal depleting caffeine, sodium and acid.

True to each his own, and Lord knows I have my own weaknesses but I guess as

long as you know what you're playing with, it's a free country!

<description>I would advise anyone , especially those with a weak or compromised liver, to
stay far away from aspartame. Imagine what they aren't telling us?
I don't scare easy, for exp; the whole MSG thing is much the same, chemically
altered amino acids yet I don't avoid it like the plague, but I really think
aspartame is different, very dangerous,
the warning on it tell phenylketonurics to avoid it, PKU is a test given at
birth to avoid retardation caused by protein or phenylalanine.

Hi Dawn,

You have a good attitude!

Everyone is different, and one person's cake is another person's poison.
Everyone has different genetic makeup and different body constitution. I think
the classical homeopathists are right on when they prescribe homeopathic
remedies based on an individual's unique symptoms and constitution.

I know some do get headaches from NutraSweet. Others get cancer from
saccharine. As for myself, Diet Coke gets rid of my headaches. When I have a
bad headache, I drink 2 large glasses of it and my headache goes away. Some say
it's from the caffeine, although I've tried drinking coffee and tea for it, and
those did not do a thing to relieve my headaches.

Actually, what I'm really looking for is a topical ointment or cream or oil
that will cure my eczema or psoriasis or whatever it is that I have. After
Christmas, and after my last car payment in January, I intend to send for a few
of the products I saw on the internet that claim to be good for those skin
conditions. It can't hurt, and they are far cheaper than things I saw in the
drug stores.

I've been trying to stay out of this because i believe you have the right to
consume what you want.

I remember when aspartame came out and I was so excited because I thought
there would be a choice. Coke had both Diet Coke and TAB out at the time and I
thought they would make one NutraSweet based and leave the other with good old
saccharine. Obviously I was wrong and I wrote many times to Coke to try to get
them to bring a saccharine based diet soda back.

Diet_Rite brands do use Splenda but they don't taste as good. And you can get
diet tonic water with saccharine - but that sure is an acquired taste.

I get horrifying headaches with in seconds of taking a sip of a NutraSweet
product. I don't know about studies and the rumors of money exchanging too many
hands and all. I just know how my head throbs when I drink the stuff. And I
also know I'm not the only one. My brothers also get headaches. I'd say it's
genetic but I've talked to too many others who react the same way. Bottom line
is I won't let my kids drink the stuff, but I do keep it around for friends who
prefer it. Same as people can't smoke in my house, but I'll keep an ashtray in
the garage.

<description>Oh, that's right, I forgot all about the &#34;hair on fire&#34; episode. Is that when
he went nuts? Is that why he had all that plastic surgery? Can you imagine
naming your two sons Prince Michael I and Prince Michael II? Those kids will
hate him when they grow up. And for a middle aged man to sleep in bed with kids
and say it is &#34;sweet and innocent and everyone should do it.&#34; NOT. He meets
every criteria of a pedophile.

Okay, that was totally off topic, sorry, but I couldn't help it.

Oh, but it tastes so much better than Diet Pepsi! LOL. Remember several
years back when Michael Jackson advertised Pepsi, while strong muscular
hunky construction men advertised Coke? I rest my case!

I started questioning my consumption of diet soda's about 10 years ago
when I saw an interview with Joan Collins saying she'd never seen a skinny
person with a diet coke. Since then I've read many studies on the evils of
nutrasweet and aspartame. I cringe when I see people give it to their kids.
I have a friend with diabetes who kept having seizures last year and
actually lived on Diet Coke. I sent her some of my info and she gave it up
and has not had a seizure since. No way would I drink it.

consume what you want.

I remember when aspartame came out and I was so excited because I thought there
would be a choice.

&lt;!--more--&gt;
product. I don't know about studies and the rumors of money exchanging too many
hands and all. I just know how my head throbs when I drink the stuff. And I
also know I'm not the only one. My brothers also get headaches. I'd say it's
genetic but I've talked to too many others who react the same way. Bottom line
is I won't let my kids drink the stuff, but I do keep it around for friends who
prefer it. Same as people can't smoke in my house, but I'll keep an ashtray in
the garage.

The road to good health is rocky and what works for some doesn't work for
everyone. If we could all live stress free, swim in the ocean and drink fresh
fruit juices and eat veggies, excerise and not have to make any decisions. Well
I'll wake up now, try to stick to my diet and brave the snow.

One or two diet colas a day is certainly not going to hurt me. Other things
will hurt me far more. After all I've been through in my life, I'm not going to
worry about a couple of cans of Diet Coke every day. I have far greater things
to worry about, such as saving the world from pedophiles and child molesters,
and such as battling Hepatitis C and educating others on how to avoid this
virus.

May you all have a wonderful day and a blessed Holiday Season.

It makes you wonder. Love to you all Jan
