yeast infections

Hi I’m new and called Sally
….got interested in this topic of yeast cause I just heard a radio
interview somewhere on the web…it was Gordon Melcher that was
interviewed by someone I can’t remember….but it might be on
google.com anyway they discussed yeast and how it causes lots of
diseases inc. psoriasis and maybe eczema. the treatment they
mentioned was olive leaf extract…it is supposed to kill off the
yeast…from what I gathered he said olive leaf did not cure
anything, what it did was kill the pathogens in the body (germs,
viruses, bacteria, etc)once the body got cleared of the offenders the
immune system started and was better able to doing its job…anyone
ever hear of this????
I’m searching (sometimes I think in vain) for a remission/cure for
psoriasis without falling into the scam artists…..it sounded so
plausible cause I do have 3 types of P….. inverse is the one I’m

thinking would be yeast type…..

    Hi Sally,

Yes I have heard of the olive leaf extract. I used it for a couple of
months, but probably not long enough to see any results. The price was just
too exorbitant for me. A couple of the websites I read about it talked
about how the olive tree is mentioned in the bible as the "tree of life". I
    found that very interesting.

There are sooooo many treatments out there, and you can really spend alot of
money trying them out. I am constantly looking for things that help. One
of the things I have done that has caused some improvement in the psoriasis
is regular colon hydrotherapy combined with digestive enzymes. It really
cleans your system out and gives you better bowel movements. I believe that
my problem stems from my digestion. I have spent the last few years
battling indigestion, and it started getting worse right about the time that

the psoriasis flared up again. I had been in remission from the psoriasis
for about 15 years, and this time around it is the worst I have ever seen.

Something interesting that I came across on the Web recently was urine
therapy. You might do a search and see what you come up with. For
psoriasis sufferers you would use your own urine topically. I have ordered
a book on the subject and am gonna read up on it. I know it sounds kind of
gross, but hey - think about it - if it works, you would have an unlimited
    free supply! HaHaHa!!!!

    Hello,

I haven’t tried olive leaf — although I have heard
good things about it. But I can say that when I’m
yeasty I am much itchier and my eczema is worse
(taking antibiodics makes my yeasty and my eczema
worse). I feel there is a strong relationship between
    yeast/digestion/and eczema.

I’d like to know if the olive leaf works for anyone.
Perhaps taking something live Nutribiotic’s grapefruit
extract too would help - it’s an antifungal. (Be ware
    it’s very bitter.)

I used to use olive oil on my skin as a moisturizer

(of course it was an organic high quality brand) and
felt good — one of the reasons I don’t use it is
    because it’s very greasy.

    Take care,
    Shannon
