Thank you for your advice. I have tried an herbal hormone balancing formula,
but with no result. I will try the Evening Primrose oil.

I caution you on the use of birth control (steroids) pills.
Your breakouts are clearly hormonal in the bearded area (for a male)
You should first try an herbal hormone balancing formula or just take 3000 -
5000mg of Evening Primrose oil. They come in 1500 mg Gel caps. 3 a day with a
good multi would clear up the skin in about a week.

Hi Glenda,
i have done a blood test a couple of weeks ago. I have a form of acne and
eczema on and around my chin, it started at puberty on whole face and back,
and it is an up and down ever since. The result of the blood test was no
food allergy, but allergy to house mite. According to the doctor it had
nothing to do with the acne. He described me Diane-35 birth control pil. I
was always very against chemical drugs, but I have tried so much wat did not
help, or did not help completely: macrobiotic diet, chinese herbs,
homeopathic medicine, food supplements, that now at age 41
<!--more-->
I am desperate, my skin is so itchy and red and I am willing to try the
Diane pil. I will also try Jenny`s advice on vitamine C.

I don`t know the cream but I know "Allergenics" non-steroidal emollient
cream, avalaible at health food store and pharmacist. It is not very
expensive. They also have face and body wash and body lotion and shampoo,
100% natural.
Now I am trying some samples from Biodermal, day and night cream and cold
cream. You can ask for them at www.biodermal.com

Best regards and best of luck,
Pamela from Holland.

Hi Glenda,

I have had eczema for more than 40 years. I am severely allergic to eggs (and
moderately allergice to other foods). Eating these things do make the eczema
worse, but I still fight eczema all the time, particularily on my face.

The Elidel cream has worked. It's not a wonder drug - but slowly it has helped
with chronic problems. It is especially nice since it is safer for the face.
It's expensive but I am very frugal with it and a large tube will last two
months.

I haven't had the blood test. Sounds a lot simpiler than the individual skin
pricks I normally get.

good luck

Hi Glenda,
I haven't had any blood tests but my doctor figured out it was our water that
was giving me such bad excema. And that was 2 years ago. Many people ended up
with excema in various degrees of severity that summer. One man I know in the
next town developed it severely on his feet when he would squirt his feet down
as he was watering his garden.. (to keep cool) I haven't heard any more how he
is going... I also haven't had any blood test but I did some research and tried
Vitamin C in large doses. Whatever the brand was, it worked! It all cleared up
for a few months. But when I stopped taking it, it came back but not as bad.
I take a different brand now but it's not as good. I dont remember the brand
because our government had a lot of health supplements banned. There was
basically nothing wrong with these supplements.. I believe that it was part of
the near future agenda to deny us our rights to alternative medicine. A few
chemists tested the supplements privately and found nothing wrong with them at
all. They were supposed to be "Contaminated". So try vitamin c. I was taking
<!--more-->
about 1,500 or more mg a day.
best wishes,
Jenny
