Thank for advise.. But i’ve already told my dermatologist
about the smell. And he didnt say anything about it. Will
go and see him again..

For what I know, when the skin got smell it is a sign
of an infection (weepy skin can get infected easily),
I really suggest you go and see your dermatologist
right away.

sometimes i notice a strange smell after i’ve been
scratching a lot or when the eczema is "weepy" and i’m
feeling extra allergic.

Thank you guys sooo much. I’m going to try the collagen treatment first and let
you know how it goes.

It all dependes on the frequency you use cortisone
creams, if your eczema is not that bad, you can use
cortisone perhaps once a week or even less for every
place except your face and neck. Use elidel in your
face and neck, but the results take a while to show…
like 5 days to a week.

In my case I use cortisone in my body and elidel in my
face and neck and I dont have any problem doing this.

Elidel is great but its quite expensive.

hi, I just wanted to know. Does anyone had the smell on the
eczema or notice a terrible smell? If yes, can u please
tell me why or what happening. I just notice a smell on my
skin. Even during my sleep, i can smell it.. dont know what
it is.

hello

I have used the Elidel cream about a month ago.. It works
for a about week and after that, it got worst on my
skin..So it not working on my eczema skin…Yes, it very
expensive. I know some people say it works on them and some
says it doesnt work.. Buy small tube and try. If works on
you then you know. COs i bought small tube to try and it
didnt work on me..so lucky i bought small tube and not big
one. My medical aids doesnt cover this cream, had to pay in
cash for it.
