psoriasis all over my scalp losing my hair someone please help….
hi, first time posting here, and sorry for the up-coming spelling errors, i have
had excema
my whole life and on my whole body, almost every where, though in the last ten
years it
has pretty much gone away in comparison to what it used to be like,
but
for the last few months my scalp has been covered by what a dermatologist called
psoriasis (my doctor was not very nice and said the hair loss was not connected)
AND
i am losing hair like crazy, it falls out from everywhere, and it’s terrifying.
i am on tons of
medications for psych reasons but i do believe because i have been on these meds
for a
long time that it is not the meds (though some might think it is)
WHAT SHOULD I DO
or what can someone reccommend for medications to ask my dermatologist for. i
saw him
a month ago and he gave me some stuff to put in my scalp but it didn’t seem to
do much
good except cause more hair to fall out
i guess my two questions are this…
can severe scalp psoriasis be the cause of this
and
what is my best coarse of action
