coconut milk?

Saturday, July 30th, 2005

I was able to find coconut milk in the grocery store. Is it beneficial in
this form? What is the difference with coconut oil? I put some in a beverage
today. But wondering what else I can do with it? and what form (lotion
maybe?) would be best used to apply right to the skin? Thanks.

Actually, this is a myth. Coconut oil actually helps PREVENT heart disease. Many
people have been tricked by the soybean industry into thinking that all
saturated fats clog your arteries. If this were true, the natives of the Pacific
Island regions would have died out long ago from heart disease. In fact, they
are all incredibly healthy and many don’t even have a WORD for heart attack in
their language. It’s a virtually unknown diease. Please read the FACTS below.

coconut oil

Monday, July 25th, 2005

I know someone posted not too long ago about coconut oil. I also read an
article about it recently. I was wondering where I could find it and how it is
packaged?

I was in the health food store the other day and couldn’t find anything like
it. (is it fridgerated like flax) or is it a vitamin or supplement? Would it
be in a regular grocery store? I did find a soap with coconut oil that I am
trying.

Thanks.
Sue

Dear Group members,

anything to us in the last days justa do it again. Thank’s in advance.

bounced e-mails

Wednesday, July 20th, 2005

Dear group members,

as I just learned Jockel’s e-mail (based in Germany) and other e-mail
accounts from Group members from Ireland and England are not working
properly at the present moment. That might apply to other e-mail accounts as
well. So please let me know if any of your mails weren’t answered, wether it
was addressed to me or Jockel. Please do so by sending it to me and Jockel
as well as to eczemapsoriasis to make sure that we’re receiving some of them
at least.

Thanks in advance

All the best merry Christmas and a happy new year to everybody!

Yours

6 year old daughter diagnoised with Alopecia

Tuesday, July 19th, 2005

I have a beautiful 6 year old daughter that has fairly recently been
diagnosed with Alopecia. She has started a series of injections, one every two
months.
The places DO seem to be improving nicely, but I was wondering if any one had
any additional suggestions/comments.
Thanks in advance,
J.

Has anyone tried?

Monday, July 18th, 2005

Has anyone in this group ever tried any of these products or know
anything about them?

More: 4 year old with Eczema

Sunday, July 17th, 2005

She was allery tested and isn’t allergic to a thing. Which according
to the doctor is well sort of good and sort of bad. Good that she
has no allergies (Not even Hay Fever). But sort of bad because at
least if it were an allergy we would have had some basis of treatment.

The only regularity in her eczema is (oddly enough) weather changes.
She’s like a little berometer. Any large change in temperature, its
going to rain, or snow, or its been raining for a while and going to
be dry. This is particularly difficult because we live in KY. And
as some of you may know the weather here can be irratic.

Has anyone else out there experienced this?

Thanks for all the suggestions on the staph.

Chickweed

Friday, July 15th, 2005

I just found this about chickweed. I’m going to try it out as I have some
chickweed growing in my garden. I know it is good for agespots on the hands and
I heard it is good for small prep-cancerous spots too. To squeeze the milky
juice on it a couple of times a day. I’ll let you know how it goes on the
dermatitis around my forehead/scalp area. I don’t have any excema spots at the
moment that I can test it on. I think maybe my vitamin supplements might have
healed them up for the present.

Modern uses: Chickweed is a valuable healing and soothing agent, used in many
ways, both internally and externally. The herb digested in oil and made into an
ointment is excellent for haemorrhoids and ulcers, or for eczema, psoriasis or
other irritating skin diseases. A decoction of the herb is used to wash and
bathe swollen and inflamed tissues. The powder is used in poultices to give
relief in bronchitis, pleurisy and rheumatism. The tea can be taken internally
