		<description>I almost forgot....Did you see if she is allergic to yeast? A lot of us have
that problem. Some others have a problem with Gluten and/or milk. And
whatever you do: Don't give her a bubble bath! That will irritate her skin
the most. Good luck!

I am new to the group. My daughter is 4 and has been plegued by
ezcema all her life. We like many of you have been Back and forth
from doctor to doctor. She went through a terrible time in her young
life about a year and a half ago. But we finally found a doctor who
diagnosed her with a full scale Staff infection on top of her
ezcema. Since then we have been on a regular rotating regiment of
&lt;!--more--&gt;
Elidel and Clobatisol/Bactroban oinment. She is alot better, but
till it itches, and she has good and bad days. We noticed this
summer however that when ever she was in the pool her skin was alot
better, like perfect. Or doctor suggested it was the sun. I was
wondering if any one has had the same effect with a tanning lamp? Or
do we just need to move the family to Arizona for the real thing 24/7.

		<description>Hi and welcome to the group! Sorry to hear your little angel is suffering!
Unfortunately she probably got the Staph infection from itching. (Dirt under
fingernails getting into raw skin) People with eczema have sensitive skin,
so:

-Use laundry detergent free of perfumes and dyes.
I use Tide Free. Fabric softener sheets don't seem to bother me but they
might bother her. If you use the sheets use one with no perfume or lightly
scented. Do NOT use liquid fabric softener. (This is for her clothes and
bedding, etc.)

Your daughter may have been better in the sun because of the Vitamins
we absorb from the sun (Too much sun is bad thought) and the chlorine from
the pool probably cleared up any infections on he skin. Make sure she is on
a multi-vitamin during the winter months.
&lt;!--more--&gt;

I'm no expert but I hope some of this helped you! Good luck with your
little angel!
