More: 4 year old with Eczema
She was allery tested and isn’t allergic to a thing. Which according
to the doctor is well sort of good and sort of bad. Good that she
has no allergies (Not even Hay Fever). But sort of bad because at
least if it were an allergy we would have had some basis of treatment.
The only regularity in her eczema is (oddly enough) weather changes.
She’s like a little berometer. Any large change in temperature, its
going to rain, or snow, or its been raining for a while and going to
be dry. This is particularly difficult because we live in KY. And
as some of you may know the weather here can be irratic.
Has anyone else out there experienced this?
Thanks for all the suggestions on the staph.
But how do you deal with the emotional side of it. She’s 4 1/2 and
begining to notice that her skin is different. As are other children
around her. She’s all right now, but I can imagine that it won’t
take long before she becomes shy about it. This particularly
concerns me because she is a strikingly beautiful girl. I know most
mothers say that baout their kids but most strangers say it about
mine too. Being as beautiful as she is I am concerned to see her
self image get marred by this skin condition.

If you can can get her to drink it (it’s not unpleasant, but I’m thinking of her
age and using something new), I would get her to drink Yellow Saffron Tea. This
has done wonders for my eczema, although it was never as bad as your 4 year
old’s.
Regards.
