About the coconut oil, can you post more info. After 55 years of being
eczema-free I have suddenly been hit. Don’t know why only now. Tried
liver cleanse (only once), taking kefir (highly recommended), eating
canned sardines as I live in a tropical country and this is the only
way I can get to eat cold water fish, been thinking of starting milled
flaxseed for the omega3 oil.
I live in a country where coconut trees are a natural, but we are not
as lucky as you guys in US where cold pressed coconut oil, etc are
easily available, and wondering if those one can get in the
supermarket might be a good enough substitute.

I can only recommend Nutiva or Tropical Traditions coconut oil. Any other brand
may be processed in a way that makes it an unhealthy choice. That’’s so strange
that you have the coconut trees all around, but no oil available! The fresh
coconut meat is very good for you too, so if you can get that indulge regularly.
As far as fish is concerned, unfortunately just about every fish that lives in
the ocean is now so contaminated with mercury that they are unsafe to eat. I
would avoid anything but wild alaskan salmon. Vital Choice is a brand of salmon
that is lab tested and guaranteed to be mercury free. It is pricey, though, and
you have to order it online. I would recommend Nutiva hemp oil for your omegas.
Omega 3 and 6 are perfectly balanced in hemp oil and it also has GLA and other
vital nutrients that flax oil doesn’t. I would recommend using FRESH GROUND (not
already ground in a container) flax seeds for some additional omega 3 and for
fiber. This is probably the best fiber source you can use. Get yourself a flax
seed grinder or use a little coffee grinder. Just be careful…the coffee
grinders can heat up the seeds too much and oxidize the nutrients. Just pulse
the grinder so it doesn’t generate too much heat.
I will probably finish up this skin protocol early next week, so be on the
lookout for the post!
