> These products are amazing. They have helped everything! Check out the
> pharmacy line on their website.
>

I've resisted speaking up before, but wanted to add my perspective. I'm a
Melaleuca customer, and I do like the products, but they did NOT cure my eczema.
I started buying the products hoping that they would clear it up, but they
didn't, and I felt really disappointed because once again I placed all of my
hope in some "miracle cure" that turned out not to work. I took the vitamins,
switched to the cleaning products, and use all of the skin care stuff and
toothpaste.

Again, I like the products. They are quality products. BUT they do not cure
eczema unless perhaps the cause of your eczema is dry skin and allergic
contact dermatitis. I'm certain my eczema is related to my diet and perhaps
<!--more-->
congestion of my liver.

I understand your enthusiasm for the company, but if you signed on the list
just to harvest customers by preying on their suffering I think that is
unethical and won't grow your business in the long run.

Jo,
Hi. I have posted, I think in this group, but I'm not sure that I use EMU
OIL for my psoriasis and arthritis. It has worked for me in profound ways.
For the psoriasis, it keeps it from itching, stops inflammation, and reduces
the signs of it. But, I have to say, it has not cured it. Also, to the Emu
Oil I add Ponds Dry Skin Cream. It may not be holistic, but after years of
trying everything, Ponds was the one that Worked. So I use it! The two in
combination are a mainstay for me.

For arthritis, I don't know what I did without my Emu Oil before. The pain
is just about totally eliminated when I use Emu Oil on my hip, knee, and
ankle. It also works for Sciatica pain. Sometime, I add DMSO for deep
penetration as this is what DMSO helps do -- move whatever you have on your
skin, transdermally, to the muscles, ligaments deep below the skin. When I
add DMSO though, I try to remember to do a couple other things which are to
<!--more-->
take activated charcoal capsules, (as DMSO can cause one to well, smell);
and, drink a lot of water to help eliminate the toxins out of the body.

Be well,
Sasha

I think cod liver oil (Carlsons brand) is a much better choice than emu oil.
Plus it's cheaper. If you are looking for vegan sources of Omegas, try Nutiva
hemp oil. It has the perfect balance of omega 3 and omega 6 (unlike other
vegetable oils) and provides GLA, a very important fatty acid for eczema and
psoriasis sufferers. Try Carlsons and hemp oil in combination and you should see
results. Topical application of omegas doesn't do much for the deficiency of
omegas in the body that are at the root of the condition. Topical application of
Nutiva coconut il, however, is incredible healing to the skin. HTH!
Carisa

Just saw a show on TV tonight (AUS Current Affairs - Channel 10, I think)
reporting that Emu oil gets rid of ecxema, psoriasis and arthritis. There
was a couple, 70 years old, who were using it and were back to their jogging
and running on tracks etc. They said it was a miracle treatment for them
(the woman looked kind of fresh faced as well).
<!--more-->

Ofcourse there was a medical doctor saying that it was not true and was only
good for emu joints. Hmmm I guess he has friends or perks re: pharmaceutical
company/s. My opinion.

Still, emu oil is said to be natural with no side effects. It has Omega 3, 6
& 9.

My partner (severe psoriasis) was excited about it so I got out the Flaxseed
Oil and he took some of those, also have 3, 6, & 9. He also took some Cod
Liver Oil.

Maybe someone on the group might be interested to look it up.

The best thing that I have found for my families eczema, psoriasis, and acne is
melaleuca oil products. Go to their website and look under pharmacy
www.melaleuca.com. The Renew lotion took my sons eczema away. For 8 oz. it cost
$8.99. The Zap It line has melaleuca oil in it also and only cost $14.99 for 4
products. The Melagel and straight Melaleuca Oil takes psoriasis away. The oil
cost $5.99 for .5 fl. oz. and the Melagel cost $6.99 for .5oz.

These products are amazing. They have helped everything! Check out the pharmacy
line on their website.

Sorry Jo,
Emu oil can relieve the itch but does not get rid of psoriasis, or arthritis how
can it. No l am not getting any perks just been realistic, only by changing your
diet can this happen after all in having Ecxema, Psoriasis, Arthritis your body
is just trying to tell you that your autoimmune system is not coping.
By the way Emu oil cost $AU25 a litre (the emu farm just up the road where l
live) Stirling Strauss Psoriasis Is Avoidable
