<description>My daughter had psoriasis on the lower rims of her eyes. She completely cleared
by applying vaseline 2-3 times daily, first she would wet the eyes (very
important) and then rub in a small film of vaseline. With in a month it was
completely gone! She has been clear of it for 6 months!

Lisa

Hi all
I developed eczema on my eyelids and a darkening/reddening/discoloration under
my
eyes in the last 6 months since I started a Crohns flare around Thanksgiving.

Anyone have suggestions on how to manage/minimize the damage? Will this cause
permanent scarring around my eyes?

&lt;!--more--&gt;
Thanks

		<description>Julie,

Although I do not have Crohn's I do get the occaisional flare ups from
exzema/psoarisis. Typically my flare ups occur in my eyebrows, on my cheeks and
down below my ears along the jaw line. I have been able to manage these lately
by taking a daily dose on Cod liver oil pills(2 day). During flareups I increase
doses to 3 day and also use virging coconut oil to ease the the sting of the
flare-ups. This has not eliminated flare ups, but makes them bearable and less
frequent
