True, GSE is good for sanitizing water, but it leaves your water with a very
bitter taste, almost too bitter to drink. I recommend a few sprays of Silver 100
to sterilize drinking water and lots of coconut oil in the diet if you are
traveling. The silver takes care of bacteria, viruses and fungi in the water
while the coconut oil gets rid of many parasites as well as bacteria, viruses
and fungi. Coconut is what many native people use to avoid things like malaria
and all sorts of exotic illnesses.

Carisa,
These are great ideas that I never thought of. I just put some tea tree oil
grapefruit seed extract, and lavender oil in my laudry room cupboard to use
starting with the very next load. I understand that grapefruit seed extract
is a 'must' for traveling where one needs to sterilize their drinking water.
I'll have to try the lavender in water as an anti-histamine too.
Thank you.
Sasha

Karena,
It might be "pompholyx", not Athlete's Foot. They look similar, so some
doctors can't tell which is which. Pompholyx is a kind of (atopic) eczema
on hands & feet and not caused by the fungi.

Hi Carisa, I read that a couple of drops of eucylptus
oil while washing my son's laundry can help to fight
allergens. What do you think?

You can find just about everything on eBay, and for cheap. That's where I get
most of my Young Living oils. I am not a representative, so I don't have access
to the wholesale prices. You can also buy direct from their website at
www.youngliving.com. You can buy melaleuca brand tea tree oil at
www.melaleuca.com. and I suspect you can find it on eBay as well.

Coconut oil is not intrinsically antifugal. However, when the medium chain fatty
acids in coconut oil are broken down by bacteria on the skin (or by salivary
enzymes and stomach acids) these free fatty acids are what have the
antimicrobial properties. So, if you are using harsh antibacterial soaps and
constantly washing off the acid mantle on the skin and washing away the good
bacteria, coconut oil will not have as great an effect as when you leave the
good bacteria on the skin and let them do their job along with the coconut oil.
If you don't have athletes foot and it is eczema, this treatment will be helpful
anyway.
<!--more-->
Carisa

Thank you for your advice.

Thank you Carisa I would like to try this. Can you
direct me on-line where to purchase the tea tree oil
and coconut oil. I live in Japan and don't know of any
heath stores and if I did I wouldn't be able to read
the products. I searched for the items on-line but I
want to make sure I buy the best and what you
recommend. Is the coconut oil also a anti-fungal oil?
Will this help my nail fungus also. How long should I
expect to see results? If it is not athlete's feet and
just our eczema will this treatment help also?

Thank you for your advice.

Use a therapeutic grade of Tea Tree essential oil to
and apply it consistently over a 30 day period of time.
__________________________________________________________________________

Add Olive leaf extract to the diet.
Try bathing or wiping your feet with a solution of 50/50 alcohol and
apple-cider vinegar.
You can use Lamasil.

____________________________________________________________________________

Soak the feet in a bucket of warm water, with 2 cups of milk kefir added to
the water. Soak the feet for about 20 minutes in the warm kefir/water bath.

Dry feet well, and then apply a little vetivert [the oil of "Vetiveria
<!--more-->
zizanioides"] pure essential oil rubbed over the toes, and in-between the
toes including forcing a little oil under the toe nails. Put on a pair of
white cotton socks, and then go to bed. Repeat in the morning. Repeat
procedure until all sytmpoms are gone for up to 3-5 days.

Vertivert pure essential oil is one of the best choices that I have found to

treat fungal infections of the feet and nails.

Does anyone know if someone with Eczema could be more prone to
Athlete's foot? Both my son and I have eczema and have the signs of
athlete's feet.

I use plain old Arm and Hammer washing soda mixed 50/50 with 20 Mule Team Borax.
Sometimes I add some baking soda tot he mix as well. This is as pure as it gets.
It is very effective, your clothes will feel really soft and it works. No need
to buy expensive 'natural' detergents. If you want, try Seventh Generation
laundry soaps. They are more expensive than the homemade powder, but they work
well and are pretty pure.

I use plain old Arm and Hammer washing soda mixed 50/50 with 20 Mule Team Borax.
Sometimes I add some baking soda tot he mix as well. This is as pure as it gets.
It is very effective, your clothes will feel really soft and it works. No need
to buy expensive ‘natural’ detergents. If you want, try Seventh Generation
laundry soaps. They are more expensive than the homemade powder, but they work
well and are pretty pure.
