Jaundice

Friday, March 31st, 2006

Hello Everyone. I am new to this group, but not to Eczema. My
nearly 3 year old son has had eczema since he was 3 months old.
Almost from the begining, the eczema has been pretty severe. We
have tried so many differnt things and nothing seems to work for
him. Poor little guy. Sometimes I just feel so bad for him, he is
such an amazingly strong person to be dealing with all the physical
and mental torment as well as he does. Anyways, over the last few
days I have noticed that he is looking a little jaundiced. I was
wondering if anyone has dealt with this, or knows what could be
going on.

Another question, just for reference, how many of you were or have
children that were significantly jaundiced at birth? I have always
thought that there is some connection. My son was jaundiced for
quite a while. He was kept in the hospital for a few extra days

Aloe suggestion to share, plus some eczema/asthma info

Friday, March 31st, 2006

Hi All-

I never post here, but do read posts from time to time. I have a 4
1/2 year old with eczema, asthma, and multiple allergies. I recently
found out from a friend of mine that started a natural care product
line (All Terrain is the brand) something I didn’t know about Aloe.
He suggested using it for my son’s eczema, and I said I thought it was
drying. He told me that most Aloe is processed, with destroys the
naturally occuring polysacchrides in the gel, which give Aloe it’s
healing properties. He told me to look for a cream which contains 10%
polysacchrides. Well, I did, and it has made a huge difference. We
have stayed away from steriods, etc, and most of the creams
recommended by dermatologists aren’t very effective come the dry
weather of winter where we live. So, if you haven’t tried this one,
it might be worth it.

Could someone please explain the difference between eczema and psoriasis. Is it
possible to have both at the same time?

TIA…..Peggy

Chapter twenty three: The Illuminati and Dangerous
ineffective immunizations

I will at first summarize this necessarily long and
very informational chapter: (It is as such, because we
Americans have been brainwashed with lots of
falsities, urging immunizations upon us!): Vaccines
produce only defective antibodies because the vaccine
makers are inflicting upon us only “substitute” or
“denatured” antigens, which do not in any way
duplicate any part whatsoever of the actual disease
fighting processes. Mimicry by substitute antigens at
this point is damaging of immunity rather than helping
it along, as we have been made to believe about
immunizations, which at best are only deleterious

colostrum?

Monday, March 27th, 2006

I recently had a baby and after talking to the lactation consultant about
breast feeding and the beneficial colostrum (premilk), I made a comment that I
need that for myself. She told me that she takes something called bovine
colostrum (sp?), from the healthfood store- it is collostrum from cows milk.
She
also happens to have immune deficiency like I do and as a result of taking this,
she doesn’t get sick anymore, especially when travelling.
I was wondering if anyone has heard of or tried this product. Not sure if I
spelled it correctly. My eczema has flared up on and off since my son’s birth
as well, but that may be due to my hormones being so out of whack!

embarassed. i feel alone and ugly. what is the best cleanser i can use on my
face that will moisturize my skin? and what lotion would be best? currently i

New To Group

Saturday, March 25th, 2006

Hello, I’m new to this group. I recently had pituitary surgery to
remove a pituitary tumor that was causing me to have stretch marks all
over my skin. So I am not new to having a skin disorder. I don’t
suffer from eczema or psoriasis, but my skin is so bad that I can
really relate to a lot of people that have either of those skin
conditions. I’m also 25 years old and know how hard it is to be young
and not have a dating life because of your skin or the way you feel
about your skin. I look forward to being supportive of others and
meeting and helping people who have skin problems.

I have breakouts more in my jaw line area. I have tried many products
that did not work. I tried proactiv and it worked for a while then
quit on me. I am also wanting any advice on make up. I cant seem to
fine a good oil free make up that will cover scars and pores. If
anyone can recommend anything please let me know.

Hi I’m 17 and have bad eczema..some help?

Tuesday, March 21st, 2006

Hey,

What’s up…I’m isaac I’m 17 and have battled with eczema since I
was 2 when I was younger it was more severe I went to the doctor and
got on steroid creams about 2 years ago and have since then
controled my eczema using Cortizone cream 1% and very rarely using
it I begin to notice that I could control my flareups and overall
health with my diet.
I noticed that when I ate foods high in sugar my skin would go crazy
I’d itch so bad and start getting hot and areas start breaking out.
Also if I ate dairy it would take about a day or so but I’d get
really bad if I drank milk or ate cheese even goats milk.
So I found some information on candida which seemed interesting
considering I had most of the symptms (White Tongue) (Eczema) (Bad
toenail fungus on one nail) (Lack of energy) (Very puffy eyelids and
