Hi I’m 17 and have bad eczema..some help?
Hey,
What’s up…I’m isaac I’m 17 and have battled with eczema since I
was 2 when I was younger it was more severe I went to the doctor and
got on steroid creams about 2 years ago and have since then
controled my eczema using Cortizone cream 1% and very rarely using
it I begin to notice that I could control my flareups and overall
health with my diet.
I noticed that when I ate foods high in sugar my skin would go crazy
I’d itch so bad and start getting hot and areas start breaking out.
Also if I ate dairy it would take about a day or so but I’d get
really bad if I drank milk or ate cheese even goats milk.
So I found some information on candida which seemed interesting
considering I had most of the symptms (White Tongue) (Eczema) (Bad
toenail fungus on one nail) (Lack of energy) (Very puffy eyelids and
face areas)
Anyway I purchased a candida cleansing kit from inno vite (benotine)
(Psyllium Husk) and carprol anyway I’v been on the kit for a good
week or so now and my skin has just gotten so much worse not like I
itch alot but it’s just like I’v getting eczema really bad on all
these old areas that I use to get it and while it’s really painfull
or bloody or oozing it’s just appearing and I’m scared to be honest
does this mean I have candida? whatever the case I want the symptoms
to die off a bit so you thinkI should stop taking the caprol for a
week and just take the other two things?
I dunno any help would be great cause I have now gotten eczema back
on my eye lids, neck, and bad behind my eyes just like when I was 11-
14 my diet is so clean I don’t eat ANY offensive foods I don’t even
cheat I’m a very determend person.
so I hope it’s candida cause I think it’s something I can cure.
Anyway thanks for listning.

I heard that when you use these kits it gets worse before it gets better.
You may want to do some research on the internet. They have message boards
for eczema also.

Hi, Isaac,
I am a long time alternative health researcher, and if you are really
serious about ending your eczema, I may have info you’d like to have.
If you care to learn, please write me back, or call me at (843) 455-9208.
Thanks,

Issac - Watching your diet will definitely help. So
think of eliminating all junk food. I went on a
cleansing diet for about 5 days and my skin cleared up
amazingly well. It actually became clear like normal
skin! It kept like that for a few weeks until I went
back to eating meat and lots of snacks!
So I actually believe that our diet affects our skin
condition.
Hope this helps!

Hey Isaac -
I am actually going thru the same kind of experience
right now. I’ve had exzema for 25 years (or more) and
recently started a candida cleanse. In your case, it
might not be candida (but it definitely sounds like
it). Have you been tested?
Anyway - this is going to take a while. I had some
really bad reactions the first few weeks I was on this
cleanse and it’s now worst in a place I never even had
it before - my neck. Over the next few weeks, try and
see if the rash feels like it isn’t as deep. I am
feeling my skin heal, but there are still a lot of
problems. Dealing with a candida infection will take
time. I’m not really sure how long, but I would
expect it to take several months.
I was also told that my skin may flare up when there’s
a "die off" of candida, but it sounds like you’re a
little early for that. Maybe not, tho’.

Keith,
Hi. Can I ask how you were tested for Candida?
And are you starving it off and/or taking a systemic anti-fungal?
I am interested in Candida and any info is appreciated.
Thanks,
Jo.

Hi there -
my Dermatogist took a blood sample and submitted it for a live blood test, which
is different than most blood tests, it seems. Most of them dry the blood out and
then look at it, but the live one can tell much better what else is living in
your blood. It showed pretty clearly that I had a high amount of yeast in my
system. I am both attempting to starve it out and taking anti-fungals as well.
These are herbal anti-fungals, not pharmaceutical. I am doing this without
pharmeceuticals except for a cortizone lotion that I have barely used for the
past 6 weeks (I used to use it 2-3 times/day).
I had a lot of reactions to different chemicals and a reaction to steroids sent
my skin into a massive eruption and made me miserable. Controlling my diet (no
alcohol, nicotine, caffeine, sugar, yeast, and more) has had a much better
effect. I’m not sure how long I will need to be on such a limited diet, but
there are things that I will want to avoid no matter what. Right now, I am
planning to be on this diet for at least 6 months. It gets easier as time passes
and the results have been good.
I have been following my doctor’s recommendations and also doing a lot of
reading on the subject lately, using a book called the pH Miracle, which is
surprisingly full of good info not specific to Candida, but to restoring
alkalinity in the body.
