<description>Use eucerin original on your face, with eucerin daytime anti-redness lotion for
face under that. For medication, hydrocortizone cream 1% over the counter
(higher % can have horrible effects causing redness/rash to get worse, it
happened to me, awful!). I also take evening primrose oil, flaxseed pills, and
fish oil. 2 pills a day for each except 3 for EPO. I have it on my face, too,
but it's gotten much better. I also no longer eat any seasonings, Mex. food,
pizza, spag sauce, &#38; apples. This has helped a LOT and I can't eat those foods
at ALL. Let me know if this helps. Also, I wash w/ aveeno oatmeal soap, it is
the best and doesn't irritate my skin at ALL.

<description>Ruby, sorry to hear about your condition...I also wish there was a cure for this
stuff.. I am a 35 yr old guy who has been dealing with this stuff my whole
life.... You will see lots on this site..Mostly good suggestions but some people
are on here just to sell products.. I wish I could tell you a magical treatment,
but I know of none.. From what I have seen, eczema has come from lots of
different sources and you have to come up with a treatment for you
specifically... I can tell you what I have done but that might not help you and
your situation.....

To start off with I have food and enviromental allergices. I use to be on
Claritin. This was probably the one med that helped my skin the best. I took
it for allergies, but it inadvertly cleared up my skin... I took this for
several years but I couldn't handle the side effects... Stress is yet another
important factor with skin.

&lt;!--more--&gt;
Regarding lotions, they just seem to make my skin itch more and dry it out even
further... When I do put on a mosturizer, I use olive oil right after a shower
and that seems to help... I take oatmeal baths when my skin gets really itchy
as well..

I know my water (well) is very harsh and is probably drying out my skin and
irrating it as well...

For me, what I eat also has a part in my eczema. I had a blood test and this
showed me all the things I was allergic to...

Anyways, you have to look at your total pic in order to see how to treat your
eczema. Are you swimming alot? are you on well water? are you using soap?
and are you stressed about something? all might have a role in your eczema....

Pray for the best...

<description>Ruby I am so sorry for you and how sad you are feeling right now. If you think
you should see somebody or get on antidepressents, I think that is something you
should do. NOthing is worse than feeling so sad and upset all the time - and
I'm sure that doesn't help your skin. Have you talked with a doctor at all
about how sad you are feeling?
