scalp psoriasis?

Sunday, May 7th, 2006

Coconut oil works on mine. There is a scalp tonic from Superdrug (a UK chain)
which helps keep it away and is not too greasy. Another is a prescription
ointment called Cocois.

I see there is a UVB light wand on the market now, for scalp psoriasis and
also for small plaques.

Has anyone tried it|?

Diet and Psoriasis

Sunday, May 7th, 2006

Hi This is Steve, Diet plays a role in Psoriasis, If you are eating sweets,
tomatoes, drinking alcohol, chocolate, donuts, pastries, soda coffee, with cream
and sugar, white bread. Go on a salada, green veggies, fruit, fish diet for two
weeks, drink water, if you have a snack a natural snack. Keep track of what you
eat, lotion after a shower or bath and exercise. Be Patient for two weeks, do
things you enjoy, if you are doing things that are stressful, try and change it.

Why knowing more about rosacea and its treatments could be harmful

Friday, May 5th, 2006

Why knowing more about rosacea treatments could be harmful for you?

One of my friends bought a house doctor type of book and since then if
you even scratch your head in front of him, he would start warning you
about at least thirty diseases and their consequences, which you might
be suffering from with their definitions. When I was diagnosed with
rosacea i read articles, looked around for the magic treatment, travel
long distances just to find the right doctor or skin specialist and
studied more complicated books then I actually studied in my degree
program.

The result of all that was not encouraging, even though I learnt by
heart most of the things about rosacea, my face redness, flare-ups and
oiliness just increased day by day. I was frustrated with my life,
with everything. I mean I tried treatments, read books, searched

Why would bleach make my hand feel better?

Thursday, May 4th, 2006

I have had small patches of eczema on my hand for the last few months.

I read about soaking in a dilute chlorine beach solution on some web
site, and, being somewhat desparate, I tried it. The first time, just
for a minute or so, and when that felt OK, the second day for maybe 5
minutes. Today, the 3rd time, again for a few minutes. Each time
followed by rinsing, drying and lotion. The worst bit of skin now looks
normal (still feels a bit thickened) and the rest looks a bit red, but
nothing like the swollen, dry, cracked way it was, and best of all,
it’s NOT itching!

Now, I go looking around the web some more and I can’t find much about
this idea, instead, most all I find are warnings that bleach will
aggravate skin problems!

my eczema story

Wednesday, May 3rd, 2006

Hi everybody. I have been a member of this group for a couple months now, and
would like to share my story with you all. I am very thankful to have found
this group, as well as a few others on the curezone site. I just developped
eczema this year, and although it has been hard and very annoying, i am actually
now thankful to it, because i know that it has been my body’s way of trying to
tell me something, i.e. you’re dirty (toxic), clean up your act!!!

i am 25 yrs old, am in (seemingly) good health, never had allergies. at
first, i just had one little patch on my hip, and didnt really know what it was.
that went on for months, and gradually, i started getting more and more until at
one point this fall, it became quite severe. very irritated, itchy, scaling,
oozy, bleeding, and covering a good part of my body (hips, belly, lower back,
legs, arms).

i went to see doctors for other reasons twice this year, and mentionned the

Hello everyone

Wednesday, May 3rd, 2006

Hello,

I am new to the group and I wanted to take a moment to introduce
myself. I am Christina, 35 from Central Florida. I am a student and
studying many forms of Alternative and Chinese Medicine, including
various massage techniques and aromathereapy. Currently I am learning
how to counsel those with addictions and stress management. I am
excited to join this group and learn of new things that I can apply to
what I have already learned and to maybe extend some of my knowledge
to those that may need some of my help.
I look forward to talking with you
Sincerely,
Christina
