Let’s Look at It Another Way

Saturday, July 8th, 2006

I really don’t know who this guy Dan K is, but I’m looking at it from the
point of view that maybe there is something here to learn.
?What if?. . . He is really trying to help, but doing it in a way that
provokes fear, suspicion, and recoil. Okay, there is much room for him to
learn to, so let’s help him do it in a compassionate way. I know I
questioned his e-mail too, but when I heard it was about pH, my ears perked
up a bit. Because I know that the Acid/Alkaline pH balance of the entire
body is a very serious issue for healing the human body internally and
externally or creating illness, disease and death. Proper pH can return the
body to health very quickly, when no other method has worked. So in my view
enemas and pH might just prove to be very interesting. And I am not afraid
to go public with it, and, admit I never even considered the two before
together. I now find it interesting enough to investigate further. I know
for a fact, I have on more than one occasion been provoked by something that
I thought offensive into learning something new.

Seems like everything I thought was helping my eczema heal was (not
sure as of yet) is actually aggravating it. I quit using lotion for 2
weeks now and the water bubbles that I would have that eventually dries
out and then cracks are 65% gone. I was using Aveeno. I try to use
little soap, shampoo and conditioner. If I do, I make sure it is all
rinsed out well. I still eat normal but I have skipped eating white
rice (hard for an asian to do) and started eating brown rice. I try to
avoid white food. I have been taking omega 3 oils and milk thistle. I
have read alot in Shirley’s site but eating just raw food is not for
me. So work with what you can I suppose. Try to eat as healthy as
possible. I rarely eat junk food now. If I do eat cooked foods, I
make sure it is made from scratch…least you know what is in it.
Supposedly, dairy and meat is not good for eczema sufferers. Thanks
guys for all the input. This is such a learning experience for me.

Instead of creams.

We should work from the inside. I think that is the misconception with
eczema since it is on the skin. In my case, I have been trying so hard
with lotions to every cream in the world including steroid creams. Try
searching about stuff like oils you can take internally. Again, this
is my opinion and from my experience which is fairly new. Seems like
my healing is slow but it looks like my skin is going the right way not
a quick fix like most creams would do.

Questions…new member

Monday, July 3rd, 2006

Hi!

I am a new member and have a small outbreak of psoriasis on my cheat
going down between my breasts to the top of my abdomen. I have an
upcoming abdominal surgery that is elective on Feb 07/06. The doctor
says he will go ahead with it as long as the condition does not worsen
before the surgery. He said I must understand there could be
complications with the incisional wound healing. I am here to ask what
experience you all might have in this area and am debating whether to
go ahead with the surgery or to postpone it til I can get this flare up
to go away for awhile. Help!

Thanks,

Sandi

Dan LEAVE me alone!!!!!

You did offer help but after refusing to call you and asking for you to
send me info thru email. Your response was "I guess you are not
suffering enough". If you are here to help people then post your
message. I am done talking about you because you are taking useful
space for people who really want to help others. We are all helping
each other in this group thru experiences. So please take your
business somewhere else!!!

More about lotions & Dimethicone

Saturday, July 1st, 2006

You know, I don’t mean to keep harping on this, but I have had severe eczema
on my hands for about 20 years and now my hands look & feel almost normal - and
this happened this week after I quit using Aveeno and anything with that
Dimethicone stuff in it. I am really awed by what has happened - I put coconut
oil on my hands twice a day (as opposed to using moisturizers 10-12 times a day)
and I’m not needing more than that!

I have been controlling my diet (no nuts), really limiting everything I eat
and doing accupuncture as well, but it wasn’t until I got rid of that stuff that
there was this radical change. I urge anyone with eczema on their hands to
really look at the things they expose themselves to constantly. The lotion thing
really blows me away. I thought that product was supposed to be good for people
with our conditions…!

So now I’d like to make some of my own lotions with coconut or olive oil - can
