Hair Care for psoriasis patient

Thursday, August 31st, 2006

Hi guys’

I’m having problem in selecting the proper hair care system for my sensitive
scalp which is seemed to be affected by Sebhorric Dermatitis. At the moment, i;m
using 2 in 1 herbal baby shampoo with conditioner. Somehow, the conditioner
ain’t good in conditioning. My hair’s still as rough as ever. I wanted to use
serum somehow i’m a bit concern on the ingredients. I hoped u guys out there can
provide some advice based on ur experiences. I thought of using Vaseline in
jelly form but it seems oily! I’ve tried baby oil but it has fragance in it.
Olive oil’s just too oily & makes me feel greasy. I’m really out of idea.

dimethicone

Thursday, August 31st, 2006

I am so grateful for the posts about what product the you actualy use. It
helps. The Burts
Bees sound good.
Right now I am still using Aquaphor on my son. It has vasaline as the main
ingrediant.
Mostly I am using it out of fear because he just got over a bad flare up. I am
afraid to change
anything right now.

One of the Jason products I bought has Dimethicone in it.

Alison and nickel was: Face Eczema

Tuesday, August 29th, 2006

Oh! No, I only use the ones that have the ingredients listed. The 3
products I’ve used have the ingredients right on the container. You can
even go online and look for their different products and see what the
ingredients are.

On another note, there was a thread earlier on nickel sensitivity. Around
that time I noticed that my stainless steel garlic press was becoming
pitted." Made me realise that I must be ingesting the metals from that
which likely included nickel. So I’ve recently stopped using my stainless
steel cookware and utensils, and have switched to mostly ceramic, glass, and
wood utensils (chopsticks and wooden cooking tools). My youngest son was
starting to develop rough elbows and knees, but once I switched my cookware,
his elbows and knees are starting to significantly soften up. I was very
surprised to see such fast results for him. I’m gonna keep it up and see if
I start seeing significant improvements to my skin, too.

Face Eczema

Does anyone else have eczema on the face? Where does it mostly occur?
Is it red or flaky, or both? What treatments work, if any? Have you
noticed anything in particular that causes flaring?

molybdenum

Thursday, August 24th, 2006

I used to take a supplement called molybdenum, I had gotten through a
chiropractor. It seemed to help when my face got blotchy. I used to get
blotchy
when around chemicals or barbecue smoke. I stopped going to that chiropractor
and tried to find the supplement in the health food store but they either didn’t
have it or hadn’t heard of it, I forget which. This was probably 2 years
ago. Well I just started taking a multivitamin and when reading through the
ingredients, I found it contains molybdenum. Thought that was interesting. I
was
wondering if people with rosecea might benefit from this….

Ayurveda Food Habits and Psoriasis

Wednesday, August 23rd, 2006

Ayurveda says -

1.) Eat your main meal Lunch between 12 am and 2 pm when the agni is at
peak and digestion is easy.
2.) Go to bed before 10. as after 10 pitta phase starts which makes it
difficult to go to sleep. you crave for food again and if you eat, it
becomes difficult to digest as you immidietly go to sleep
3.) Dinner at 7.00 gives you ample time to digest before you go to
sleep at 10.
4.) Chew each bite 32 times before you take it in. Digestion begins in
the mouth.

will keep on updating the list……….

Depression cure

Tuesday, August 22nd, 2006

A great, simple and easy cure for depression is EFT. Go to
www.emofree.com and download the directions. There are tons of
stories about depression there. If you can’t figure out how it works
on your own you can always order the DVD set. It’s quite reasonable
priced. I have a few of the sets and find it quite valuable. The
first time I heard of it was when I won a free EFT session with a
practioner and I’ve been using it ever since.

EFT will allow you to think about your problems but not have the
anxiety and stress along with it. I’ve literally gone from feeling
suicidal to having a great day within a few minutes.
