Something else that is really effective is available at
www.mymamslove.com. I've used it on my scaly arms and face. It works
wonders, I can't recommend it enough.

Hi Sheila,
My son is 10 and has bad eczema all over. I have eczema a little and vaseline
really itched mine. I found to always believe my son and NOT what the doctors
said. Cold-Pressed Olive Oil helps a lot but for the skin but itches a little
at first. I now use Safflower Oil with a Evening Primrose Oil in it. Evening
Primrose helps by itself too. It seems I have tried almost everything and it
all helps "a little" for "a little time". After 4 years we find that most of it
is food allergies mostly to Wheat (but again, a little of everything). I love
this site and it saved my sanity many times. James itches all night and we have
a terrible time of it. I had to resort to Home-Schooling because our nights
were so sleepless. Good luck to you. I will be trying Burt's Bees products
too!
Cathy

One of the Jason products I bought has Dimethicone in it.

They have a vege type of "fake Vaseline" called "Unpetroleum Jelly" by
Avalon Natural Products. I use it to take off my makeup because I used to
use regular Vaseline then tried makeup removers but the makeup removers
irritate my eyes. It's not as thick as regular Vaseline but it does work
well.

Alison

I am so grateful for the posts about what product the you actualy use. It
helps. The Burts
Bees sound good.
Right now I am still using Aquaphor on my son. It has vasaline as the main
ingrediant.
Mostly I am using it out of fear because he just got over a bad flare up. I
am afraid to change
<!--more-->
anything right now.
