Oily skin remedy?

I have terribly oily skin. I hate it! It seemed to be really bad within
the last year (age 26). I use retin-A, clydamycin, and benzoclin to
combat my acne and reduce the scarring.

I recently went to a dermo, and she gave me another retinol, tazorac,
and then she gave me Effidrate, which is a moisturizing oil controlling
lotion with corn starch in it from La Roche-Posay.

My skin is still oily, although the lotion is kindof helping. I also
use only oil-free make up (basically everything I use is oil free).

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I am thinking about doing the master cleanse to clean out my body of
toxins.

    Hi Lesie
I too have very oily skin. I am 40 and still break out. I have had
great success using a real soap made with lye and natural oils.
Read the ingredients on the soap you are using. If it contains
anything starting with sodium laur….(there are many variations) it
is detergent and not soap. Using a detergent to wash strips any
natural oils your body produces and give your body the message to
produce more. The more you wash to remove the oils the more signals
your body gets to produce oil. It is a nasty circle. Since I have
switched to a "real" soap I find my skin much better and am having
    far fewer breakouts.
    Best of luck

Maybe worth a try is a tea tree lotion to kill the bacteria causing the
    acne.
I started using it overnight and as the inflammation subsided I use it much
    less.
It worked for me and I had a pizza face+++. (This was in my early 40’s too -
    female).
