Intro…
Hello. My name is Deb and my husband has Psoriasis. We are in the
process of successfully treating it and I thought I’d join in to list
what we are doing in the hopes that it might be beneficial for someone
else.
I don’t think it’s possible for anyone to know how horrible Psoriasis
is unless you have it. While I can see firsthand all that my husband
has to endure, I will never fully know the embarrassment/frustration,
etc. of having it. Sadly, those feelings are prompted by the heartless
attitude of the publics reaction to Psoriasis. There have been times
when he’s been treated as a leper.
That being said, things are looking up….Thankfully!
By way of history, my husband has had it since his 20’s, he’s now just
over 40. We married in 2000 so in the 6-ish years we’ve been together,
I’ve been slogging it out with him to try to find something that works.
To make a long story short, the Chiropractor that I go to had Hulda
Clark’s book "Cure for All Diseases" on his shelf and each time I went
in I’d pick it up. (Eventually I bought it.) After treating my
husband, my Chiro told Alan to cut out wheat and his Psoriasis would
go away. That it was caused by a parasite and that particular parasite
(Ascaris) existed on wheat. Sounded too incredibly simple. (This is
also reiterated by Hulda Clark, the Ascaris thing.)
Almost a year ago, in an effort to lower Alan’s blood pressure without
medication, we turned to Dr. Clark’s book. We zapped him, did the
kidney and parasite cleanse and, cut out wheat. His psoriasis went
away. He was also swimming each day so we were blindly attributing the
disappearance of the lesions to the effect of the chlorine. Hindsight
is a beautiful thing.
Over this past year, my husband got lax and resumed his old way of
eating. The lesions returned. Slowly though so we didn’t make an
immediate connection. (He had also stopped swimming which is where I
think the relation to swimming came in.)
It was at the beginning of this past Dec. that we actually got
worried. Alan won’t use cortisone (it ruined the skin on his shins
when he was first diagnosed). I recently read coal tar is carcinogenic
so he stopped using that. And, it seems that every product that he’s
used in the past has been subsequently removed from the market. That
being said, his Psoriasis was worse than either of us had ever seen
and we were actually scared. We had no idea what we were going to do.
He had never before had it on his upper thighs or his upper arms or
forearms.
I broke out Dr. Clark’s book again and told him he had to go off
wheat. Well, with just that one thing, his psoriasis is gone by about
50%. I think it went away quicker last time b/c of the cleanses. The
only thing we have found to work topically is the Hemp Body Butter by
The Body Shop. It is a bit pricey but it’s worth it. But, it only
seems to have any effect if used with their little
rubber-scrubby-mit-thing (I have no affiliation w/ TBS and stand to
gain nothing by reporting it’s use). All the topical lotions we tried
didn’t do much if applied on their own. Applied with the mit it does
wonders and I can rub him 3x longer as it’s effortless. That went for
the Hemp Body Butter too, it has the best spreading power of all so
you seem to get more for your money b/c it takes less to go around.
Yesterday I sent him to our GP to get a sample taken to document that
it is indeed Psoriasis. While it looks and behaves like Psoriasis it
has never been properly diagnosed. The dermatologist/specialist that
he went to when he first got it looked at it and with no doubt said it
was Psoriasis. Every doctor since has agreed. But, in the name of
science I wanted to be sure of the correlation. If cutting out wheat
and doing a parasite cleanse can cure Psoriasis than I would be
shouting it from the rooftops….or on every forum at the very least.
So, we’ll have the results in about 10 days. I have no doubt. And I
also have no doubt that Hulda Clark is right.
Anyway, that’s pretty much our story. Because it’s difficult to find
just wheat-free, we’re pretty much gluten-free. I do have photos taken
and am needing to take more which I’m happy to supply if you email me.
Like I said, I stand to gain nothing from posting this. I only hope to
help someone.
Regards,
Deb
