New to Board
I find the times you are itchier interesting. As when I first experienced
eczema (when I was college age), I used to be very itchy all night long. Then
I started to get itchy when I would get home from work, almost as if maybe I
was more relaxed in the privacy of my home to scratch??? Now I mostly have it
on my hands and it itches any time of day! in public too!
So, I used to put allergy covers on my bed, then I thought I was allergic to my
apartment, now I have no clue, it could be anything.
Hi -
I am new to this board although I have suffered from Eczema for quite a
long time. I posted a message a week or two ago, but I don’t think it
ever made it to the message board. I don’t know why?
My main problem is on the back of my hands. I take a bath in the
morning and soak them. Then I apply natural oils and aloe lotion.
However the problem I am having is at night. My hands get so itchy I
feel like I could scratch all the skin off. Its very hard to resist
scratching for me. Even when I apply the same things at night I still
itch like crazy. Funny but I don’t itch so much usually in the morning
or during the day. It seems as the day wears on I get itchier. I
think if I did not scratch so much my hands would look much better.
I am now going to try soaking them at night for about 15 minutes then
applying oils or lotions. Maybe that will help open up the pores and
moisturize the skin better.
