About Burt’s Bees . . .

Tuesday, September 19th, 2006

I noticed this product came up several times in a threads. I’d like
to comment:

My palms at one time were so ravaged with eczema, I was in total
agony. I couldn’t outstretch my hands at all. My young children
refused to hold my hands to cross the street or in stores because
they were "scratchy and yucky". In my long search for relief,
(forget a cure, I was just praying to be able to point my finger
without ripping the skin in 3 places!) I used burts bees hand salve
for a long time. It helped more than other things, but did not seem
to quite get me over the "hump" and into a controlled state. It was
because I saw some improvement with their hand salve that I began to
explore my own remedies. My Calendula balm has been an absolute life-
saver for me and my kids! We are totally under control now, thanks
to an old, old recipe, some expensive ingredients and a lot of time

What works for me

Hi-

Just thought I would mention that I use Vanicream on my face. You can
buy it at most pharmacys. My dermatologist recommended it. It
contains no fragrance, dyes or parabens. It is not greasy and is for
sensitive skin. It doesn’t burn even when my skin is raw.

The story is long but I will try to keep it short, contact me for the
whole story. I had pustular psoriasis on my forearms for 3 yrs. Last
year I learned about ‘neutralizing my body’s pH’. I began taking 1200
mg of calcium everyday and taking vitamins to keep my internal
environ. as alkaline as possible. Disease cannot thrive in an alkaline
environment. My Fibromyalgia and arthritis (since age 22)started to
disappear. The psoriasis went away. My joints stopped popping and
snapping so much. Now I can tell when my body needs more calcium
because the pain will come back. Pills make your body acidic, this
causes toxicity(low pH). Fresh foods and vitamins, calcium, GOOD H2O
make your body more alkaline(neutral pH=7). This info saved my life,
my body no longer feels like it’s falling apart. God supplied this
info to me so I could help others. If you need more info write me or
search the net for"nertralizing your body’s pH". It’s time for you to
change your health! Good luck.

Hello. My name is Deb and my husband has Psoriasis. We are in the
process of successfully treating it and I thought I’d join in to list
what we are doing in the hopes that it might be beneficial for someone
else.

I don’t think it’s possible for anyone to know how horrible Psoriasis
is unless you have it. While I can see firsthand all that my husband
has to endure, I will never fully know the embarrassment/frustration,
etc. of having it. Sadly, those feelings are prompted by the heartless
attitude of the publics reaction to Psoriasis. There have been times
when he’s been treated as a leper.

That being said, things are looking up….Thankfully!

By way of history, my husband has had it since his 20’s, he’s now just

Miracle Cream

Friday, September 15th, 2006

Hi everyone,

My wife and I are new to the group. We really just thought we’d sign up
to share something we wish someone has shared with us years ago. We saw
an add last night for psoriasis connections and suddenly realized how
many of us were out there and how much we could help by telling them
about a cream we found. My wife has eczema, so does our daughter. I
suffer for psoriasis…bad!!! Anyways, we bought a cream mainly for a
diaper rash and now all of us use it daily. We found it online at
www.mymamaslove.com. It is seriously the best thing we’ve EVER seen or
used. We’ve tried prescriptions that have been less effective. I think
you can get a small one for $2-3, not a huge investment to try it out.

We’ll be in touch, for now, just wanted to share that…oh, it’s also
totally natural, just herbs and oil or something like that.

Hello I am new to this group and would like to share….

I have suffered dermatitis all my life in one form or another. I have
tried traditional treatments of steriod creams and such without long
term relief. My dermatitis is mostly on my hands, ocassionally on my
eyelids. I have found significant assistance with using Garden of Life
Fungal Defense and Primal Defense as recommended by their program.
Using Sea Buckthorne soaps and salves helped a great deal.
I have recently started to use a product that is advertised for skin
mites that has nearly eradicated the dermatitis on my hands in less
than a week. My entire body feels clean and less stressed from the
itching, pain of cracking skin and dryness. The redness and contact
type flare up reaction is calmed within minutes.
Due to this experience I a starting to think a skin mite maybe part
of, if not the cause of many dermatitis conditions. I was wondering if
anyone else shared this opinion or had a similiar experience.

Are these foods safe for me?

Hello,

I am 32 years old. My last excema crisis was 15 years ago. I have
not had it since. It had lasted 3 monts. It now returned this week
after so many years. My questions to all of you:

Can I eat:
Coconut cream in my chicken?
Replace dairy with soy products? sounds controversial…
Can I eat wheat?
Can I eat white rice?

Thank you very much,

Christine
