tetrasil ointment, milk products

Sunday, October 22nd, 2006

Glad you’re having a little success with the balm!

As to your question re: why goat’s milk is better than cow’s milk for the
skin, I post the following:
"Unlike cows’ milk which must be mechanically homogenized, goats’ milk is
already homogenized in its native state. Goats’ milk molecules are comparatively
smaller than those of cows, being composed of short-chain fatty acids with
smaller-sized proteins. This makes goats’ milk more accessible for absorption
into the skin."

Along with extra naturally occurring vitamins and minerals found in Goat’s
Milk, this would account to a difference.

mutaxor

Well said Sharon ..

Personnaly I felt the same away about MLM as alot of people do because my first
experience was unpleasant.. It was costly and the training and support was
costly.. Almost felt like i was paying to work for them.

I left it for years until I was introduced to a product that helped me and I am
happy I joined up into a MLM business again because this one really makes me
smile. I like dealing with people directly and love helping people heal
themselves.

I understand if people have been scammed or burnt before but that can happen to
you working for any company or selling any product MLM is just like any other

Fwd: [eczemapsoriasis] unpetroleum, burts bees

Friday, October 20th, 2006

I live in Alaska and I bought the unpetroleum at Fred Myer. A grocery
store. In the natural food section.

I do love burts bee carrot lotion and coconut foot cream. The are very
nice. Great recommendations. But for my son for now I like the unpetroleum.

That’s great to hear that you found something that you can use to replace
the cortisone. I think that will be much better for your child in the long
run.

I just wanted to comment that I was one of the people that was doing well
w/the Burt’s Bees products. Alison had mentioned that the Coconut Foot
Cream worked for her face. So I used it, and it worked great for me. But
now that my skin is healing, I’m finding that the Coconut Foot Cream is too
thick to use during the day, so now I’m using the Carrot lotion which is
much thinner, and less greasy looking. Feels so much better now! I guess
what I’m trying to say is that when the skin starts to heal and become more
normal, then you don’t need the creams to be so thick. My husband has
fantastic skin and doesn’t even need to use lotion at all. His skin is
neither dry or oily. I hope to get like him soon.

Psych Drugs — Doctors Serve As Middle-Man Pushers
Evelyn Pringle

Although peddling psychiatric drugs for off-label treatment of every
ailment known to man is highly profitable, it is also illegal.
Marketing schemes that increase the rates at which drugs are
prescribed for off-label use, result in the sale of drugs that have
not been proven safer or superior to FDA approved medications already
on the market.

That said, its time to quit blaming the pharmaceutical industry
exclusively for off-labeling marketing. The fact remains, that drug
makers could not sell their new and relatively untested drugs if not

Medicine’s assault on calcium: Quack science fuels calcium bashing
frenzy
In the world of health news, I’m not sure who’s worse: Dishonest
researchers or illiterate science reporters. But in this case –
lucky us — we get both. The issue surrounds the reporting of a
recent study on calcium supplements in post-menopausal women
conducted by the Women’s Health Initiative (WHI), a U.S. government
program. According to practically everybody in the mainstream press,
the study shows little or no benefit of taking calcium supplements.
Here’s a sampling of the headlines you may have seen in the popular
press:
No broad benefit from calcium found for women

Popular shampoos contain toxic chemicals linked to nerve damage

Researchers at the National Institutes of Health have found a
correlation between an ingredient found in shampoos and nervous system
damage. The experiments were conducted with the brain cells of rats
and they show that contact with this ingredient called
methylisothiazoline, or MIT, causes neurological damage.

Which products contain this chemical compound MIT? Head and Shoulders,
Suave, Clairol and Pantene Hair Conditioner all contain this
ingredient. Researchers are concerned that exposure to this chemical
by pregnant women could put their fetus at risk for abnormal brain
development. In other people, exposure could also be a factor in the
development of Alzheimer’s disease and other nervous system disorders.
