Renew Ingredients. Hmmmmm

Hi all
did a little research.

Water: ok

Glycerin: ok

Petrolatum: Seriously a petrolium product? They work for some
people but I choose to avoid them.

Distearyldimonium Chloride: Thickener and catatonic surfactant (this
and the cetly alcohol are what make the oil and water mix).
Potential eye irritant.

Isopropyl Pammitate: Used in cosmetics as a thickening agent and

emollient. As is true for any emollient or thickening agent, it can
potentially clog pores, depending on the amount used in the product.

Cetyl Alcohol: Fatty alcohol used as an emollient, emulsifier,
thickener, and carrying agent for other ingredients. Can be derived
naturally, as in coconut fatty alcohol, or synthetically.

Dimethicone: This is silicone! Silicone polymer used to modify a
product’s feel or contribute water resistance. Silicone polymers
used in breast implants caused serious health problems and were
subsequently banned by the Food & Drug Administration

Melaleuca Oil: Tea Tree Oil. Extracted from the plant, Melaleuca
alternifolia. Used for its antisep6tic, analgesic and anti -
bacterial properties; also aids in healing and soothing skin. One
property is supposed to be the ability to penetrate the skin. OK
when used by itself but when combined with other ingredients may
help them penetrate the skin, ie the petrolium or paraben.

Methylparaben: Preservative. A water-soluble anti-microbial agent.
One of the most commonly used preservative in cosmetics today.
Although considered safe it causes irritation in some people.

Fragrance: If you choose a product with fragrance there is no way
to find the agents used to make that fragrance.

All in all this is not a product I would want to use. If you use it
and it works for you great.
