OILY SKIN AND ACNE

I have suffered with acne all my life as well as oily skin. I tried
almost every product out there even proactiv and nothing worked. One
day someone at this site recommended zapzyt and it works great. I no
longer have the severe breakouts I once did. I use nuetrogena two in
one facial cleanser which is a mask and cleanser. It works great but I
still have oily skin. I cannot fine a moisturizer to control the oil.
I only wash my face twice a day. Help please.

We’ve all been frustrated by this. I believe it is all about what you
eat. I have a typical American bad diet (I smoke, eat chocolate, fast
food, etc…) and have noticed when I eat healthier my acne seems to
slow down but I too still have oily skin. The funny thing is, since
I’m 34, I have some wrinkles on my forehead even though it is still
    oily! aarghhh!
I also think I have Candida, which is an overgrowth of yeast in the
gut. I have used Collodial Silver for eczema and other things and it
has made some improvements to my skin even when I still had a bad diet.
I don’t think there is anything that will stop the oil because the
more you dry it out the more oil your brain sends to your skin. (It’s
    a protective measurement)
I used to use ‘linen sheets’ to blot access oil during the day when I
was in High School and have been looking around for some. If I get
some I like I will let everyone on the list know.

    Good Luck!

    1. consider a DRASTIC change in your diet and begin to eat only mucus-
less/alkaline forming foods: Fruits and veggies only (do ensure the
staples are organic as much as possible and to get the best deals, just
visit you co-ops, farmers’ markets, Trader Joes or Wholefoods(
admittedly, whole-foods might be a bit expensive but the safety you
derive from eating organic fruits and veggies are sure worth it!)

    2. change your pillowcase like everynight.

    3. If you can, shampoo your hair nightly or wrap your hair up in a
clean "do-rag" to reduce the introduction of greasy hair products to
your face while sleeping.(and sleep on your right side, your heart will
thank you for that as well)

    4. After having used proactive, neutrogena, those Johnson & Johnson

blue face pads and face tissues…let me tell you from experience my
friend, nothing works better than using PLAIN COOL WATER on your face
and facial massaging to cleanse your face. Visits to steam rooms and
steaming your face regularly are also great.

    5. AVOID (with a capital A) microwaves…please!!!

    6. Try a juice fast or a restricted mono-diet of a seasonal fruit.

Do Let me know of your success my friend, believe me I’ve been there
and know what acne can do to ruin one’s self image but knowing there
are great and inexpensive natural methods to cure acne is truly a god-
    send of a relief!!!
