Breastfeeding and eczema
I have eczema. Can what I eat pass on to my baby while nursing to
cause her to have a flairup. At 2 months she broke out in bumps on
her body.

absolutely! i had to change my entire diet when breastfeeding. same as with
yourself just eliminate suspect foods until you find out what causes the
eczema. start with obvious things like dairy and wheat and go from there.

I have heard everything is passed to the baby hence the labels on all
medicine: "Do not take if you are pregnant or breastfeeding". You may want
to "Google" it for more info.

I just had a piece of cake from Easter and have been itchy/weeping since I ate
it
a few hours ago. I have not had sugar like that in a long time. Now I am
SURE
that SUGAR is a TRIGGER !!!!!

That’s a good question. I did not look at the ingredients.
It was a rum cake with lots of that sugary icing on top
(all colorful). It also had creme filling. I have not eaten
anything like it in almost a year and honestly I felt like
I got a little "high" from it. Kinda spacey.
