eczema on baby’s face

Sorry to hear that your baby is like that, my baby has severe eczema too,
since she was 3 month, we also try everything you mention, my baby is 2 year now
and the only doctor that really help us was an allergist, she recommend a diet,
we eliminate lot of foods, but I breastfeed so I have to avoid all the foods
too, because you passed through the milk….
I guess your baby is not eating a lot, I just wonder what milk is taking?, how
bad is the eczema is her skin red? or very dry? what kind of detergent you use
to wash the baby cloth? Do you have any pet?
What I used now is cetaphyl soap or if she is red Lever2000, you could add
Alpha keri oil, after bath doctor recommend no lanolin product, we star on
vanicream, but for us works great eucerin, I used All clear detergent for cloth
doctor recommend dreft …no fabric softener or dryer sheets… I use hot water
and use very little soap and double rinse…..
We avoid all these foods..dairy, soy, eggs, peanuts, chicken, beef, and juts 2
weeks ago we took corn and oatmeal…and her skin is very nice.
Maybe if you change the milk first, they told us to try the nutramigen is a no
dairy or soy… You should avoid wheat, citric fruits, tropical fruits,
berries.melon…It is not forever it sounds a lot but you will see they will get
better, and you can add one at a time, and see maybe it will be no
reaction…but if you see redness or inflammation just avoid it..
You can star with veggies,squash, carrots, fruit like apples, grapes, pears,
Doctor recommend to add a multivitamin, vitamins C 250mg, Vitamin E 200mg,
Flaxeed oil 250mg, Evening primrose oil 200mg, calcium caltrate 270 mg(6-12 mos)
This amounts it was for doughtier 2 years old …..just the calcium is for 6
-12 mos

We have the atarax we don’t use it any more, we have Elocon is hydrocortizone,
it work great we use very little, we used some times derma-smoothe/FS oil for
scalp work great, and for skin they have Hill moisture Riser..just have a phone

you will see your baby has allergies to something, as soon as you find it you
will See he will be fine, it takes time so be patient.
