Chinese Herbalist Time!

I’ve finally made an appt. to see one this Thursday. I was planning on
getting acupuncture, hopefully to help my skin allergy. He’s going to
do a full evaluation for $60. I’m going to take my bloodwork results
and hopefully my doctor can get my full health record to me in time.
I’d like him to really look into my stomach problem, mainly my gnawing
feeling above the navel which has been there for I’m afraid to say 10
years and my gallstones and this new "IBS" problem, and now my
allergies, oh and candida.

Do you guys have any suggestions or tips or anything when I go to see
him? Any experiences? Good/bad?

Thanks!
Shefy

    Hi,

Please check out www.eczema-natural-healing.com This woman
went to a Chinese Herbalist and it worked because he used steroids. Make sure
that if you do NOT want him to use steroids in his treatment that he
is aware of your wishes and does not use them. Check out her
    story on her site.

I am leery of herbalists because I am allergic to so many things
but best wishes to you !!!!

Have you been tested by an allergist ?

IBS…Did you go to a gastroenterologist ? Make sure he/she rules everything
    out,

    including celiac (intolerance to gluten).

    Best Wishes :-) Maggie

    Shefy,

You should look in to Dannon’s new yogurt - Activia. I have believed for
some time now that at least part of the cause of the psoriasis is digestion
related. When my indigestion and acid reflux started getting worse, so did
the psoriasis. I have been eating the Activia daily now for almost a month
and the psoriasis is getting lighter in color, AND the acid reflux is
completely gone and the indigestion has significantly improved.

    I hope this helps….

    Hi Dawna,

Yes, I saw that. I’m in marketing so I know how that works :) Activia has
bifidus regularis, many other yogurts also carry that strain, they just don’t
advertise it like that. I actually have been having it for 2 months, but I
haven’t seen much difference due to it alone…

I haven’t exactly looked over the activia ingredients, but it may have a lot
of sugar. Natural health food stores carry such yogurts wtihout all the extras.

    I’m glad you’re feeling better!

I suffered with eczema on my legs back in the eighties. ‘Conventional’
medicine would not clear it. I consulted a practitioner of traditional
Chinese medicine. She managed to clear it up completely. It took a few
months however. It was not particularly quick. The downside was the cost
and the taste of the ‘medicine’. It tasted absolutely foul. I have
remained clear until the year 2000, since when I’ve started to suffer with
eczema again. This time on my arm. I trust this helps.

This seems promising. I got it from a Budwig site.
